That cannot possibly be true, that there was no one else to do it. There was simply no one else they would allow to do it since they kept it out of the hands of the people. They are solely responsible for the bibles existance...if not them, then who..... Who? For real? How about *God*. Where would God be without the Catholic church to take care of things for Him. God???? God has a printing press???/God copies manuscripts BY HAND??? God uses people to accomplish His goals and He used the Catholic church to preserve the bible.It is that simple. Where would God be without the church...well He would still be God, but you would have never heard of Christ, Mary and Joseph, Pilate, the Magi etc. etc. because it was through the Catholic church that this normal, human story was brought to you. You seem to think that this information, as holy as it is, would just somehow be there without someone to do the work to bring it to you. Thank God that the Catholic church was there to do it.
