Yeshua’s sheep are all under one covenant.
The end time believers are to be grafted into the same covenant. (end times began at the resurrection)
>> “If someone had the gift of healing, they could heal all people all the time, like Jesus did.” <<
Like Jesus did? - Really?
Jesus healed by forgiving sin.
Healing through sanctification, and healing through the gift are two completely separate things.
You can bring about your own healing without any gift, by rebuking your own curses, be they generational, or out of hatred and bitterness, or out of the great sin of fear, you can confess them, rebuke them, and repent of them, and as you walk them out you will be healed.
That is what sanctification is.
...faking..the gifts...I've seen a S t r e a c h for an excuse before, but this has to rate the biggest I've ever encountered.
First of all, you must understand just what "carnal", "milk", and "meat" Paul was speaking of. "Carnal" means OUTWARD MAN. Doing things that please or impress the OUTWARD MAN. Like signs, wonders, miracles, healers, etc. You know, all those 5 sense things that are used by outward man in order to "prove" to themselves that they are Godly, have more faith than others, etc. "faking" where their position and condition in Christ is actually. That would be the heavenlies. "NOW faith is the substance of things hoped for,the evidence of things NOT SEEN". Heb. 11:1, once again.
Nonsense you slay the language.
Carnal means living for the flesh, and by the flesh.
It means disregarding the power of the kingdom in your every day life.
...what do you think I was describing when I talked about the outward man? CARNAL MAN. Living for the outward man, and BY THE OUTWARD MAN. That IS CARNAL. Good grief. Is it that difficult to comprehend? That would be a great example of the MILK. And not the MEAT of Paul’s writings.
Seriously, “outward” conveys nothing WRT man’s spiritual condition. It is an obfuscatory word in this usage.
The Corinthians were so aloof from God that they had no real idea what the spiritual gifts even meant. Paul chided them for faking speaking in tongues (funny, people still do that today) and said they’d be better off speaking in tongues they had learned as Paul himself had.
The Corinthian is the essence of the modern ‘believer.’

Wow, I didn’t mean to say it three times!
Your argument is with Jesus.
Luke 22:20 And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.
He said it's new. It's new.
Well, that certainly bears repeating......
Go back to verse 19, where he declares his body is given, which is a promise under the original, eternal covenant.
Thankyou again for a wonderful inspiring article.
