“You are a hoot.”
Because I caught you on your hypocrisy? Instead of finding ways to insult, you should address the arguments and the evidence at hand.
“Religion Mod, Salvation is mad at me because my quotes from the Fathers are devastating.”
Reading minds too?
And “devastating”? Not even, nor is it accurate to say:
“Those quotes are already sourced and are widely available all over the internet (Its from Augustine, Theodoret and a Pope)”
As there are opinions of authors caught up in your Cut-n-Paste.
As for your claim:
“Theres no one particular link where they came from, or even just a few links.” - And how did you concatenate them all so neatly and repeat them in thread after thread? What site are you using to get these authors opinions about ancient sorces?
is English your first language. That is a serious question
From Post 307: On several threads, specifically the ones about "Three days in the tomb" and about how Jewish people view a "memorial" as an actual participation in the original event. I specifically told you not to take my word for it but to go to "AskMoses.com" and speak to an expert on both of those.
“I’m exhillerated (SIC) to see that you finally admit to worshiping your saints/statues...”
Calm yourself. Try reading what I wrote, not what you want my words to mean.
And here is one of your co-sola scriptura adherents, do you agree with him?
I asked:
And do you regard Sunday as a particular day of worship or just another Pagan artifice?
editor-surveyor replies:
Sunday has always been Satans day.
“Because I caught you on your hypocrisy?”
You are a legend in your own mind.
Hey - you claim to believe in Sola Scriptura, right?
“And how did you concatenate them all so neatly and repeat them in thread after thread?”
Simple, I took the time to concentrate them neatly and then copied and pasted from my own post. You’re more than welcome to google the phrases and see where I allegedly stole them from, other than myself.
Religious Mod, this guy walks in calling Protestants idolaters, and is now just looking for ways to antagonize people instead of addressing the arguments or points that people make.
Hey - you claim to believe in Sola Scriptura, right?
Are you under the law or under grace??? Are you under bondage or are you under liberty???
Credo in Deum Patrem omnipotentem;
Creatorem caeli et terrae.
Et in Jesum Christum,
Filium eius unicum, Dominum nostrum;
qui conceptus est
de Spiritu Sancto,
natus ex Maria virgine;
passus sub Pontio Pilato,
crucifixus, mortuus, et sepultus;
descendit ad inferos;
tertia die resurrexit a mortuis;
ascendit ad caelos;
sedet ad dexteram Dei Patris omnipotentis;
inde venturus est
iudicare vivos et mortuos.
Credo in Spiritum Sanctum;
sanctam ecclesiam catholicam;
sanctorum communionem;
remissionem peccatorum;
carnis resurrectionem;
vitam aeternam. Amen.
In English:
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ,
his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived
by the power of the Holy Spirit,
and born of the Virgin Mary,
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
He descended into hell.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
he will come again
to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy Catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen
Mystery Babylon always responds to me in such a bizzare manner.
Tell me where in Scripture it says there is a source of God’s truth to us outside of Scripture that we should go to or use.
Of course, the Catholic church makes it’s own claims that it is a valid source of truth, but the claims are baseless because they are simply pulling themselves up by their bootstraps.
Tradition and magisterium are truth from God because we said so, is not a weighty argument validating their claim.
*SNERK*That is the best you got. Profitable doesn't mean final authority or only authority. Selling washing machines can be profitable. Further proof that protestantism is intellectually dishonest.
Funny dude, upthread metmom whined I only posted scripture. Further proof that protestantism is intellectually dishonest.
Those that love his law, and have it written in their hearts are under grace, and those that reject his law are forever under its accusation.
ROFL
Read and quote the entor post. More proof of the intellectual dishonestly of protestantism
Do you agree with editor-surveyor who says:
Sunday has always been Satans day.
There is no such thing as more perfect than perfect.
Everything we need to know as pertains to salvation is in the Bible.
John 20:30-31 30 Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
1 John 5:13 13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life.
Ephesians 6:16-18 16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication.
I just can't imagine the mindset that thinks it needs to add to what God has told us. It's not like the Bible doesn't contain enough to keep us busy for several lifetimes, much less this one.
Christ rose from the dead on a Sunday, defeating Satan, and opening the Gates of Hell.
What makes you think Sunday is Satan’s day?
Naw,,,Sunday ain't no different than Thursday...I mean, really; no one knows whether Sunday is really Sunday anyway...
