U.S.-backed Syrian rebels reportedly massacre Christian village

Members of the Free Syrian Army reportedly attacked the Christian-dominated al-Duvair village in Reef on the outskirts of Homs on Monday, where they massacred its citizens, including women and children, before the Syrian Army interfered.

This reported attack comes shortly after intense fighting in the city of al-Qusseir over the weekend, in which Bashar Al-Assad’s forces inflicted heavy casualties on the rebels.

Assad’s forces launched an offensive in April in an effort to cut off supply lines to the rebels by taking the city and its surrounding areas from the rebel groups that had been entrenched there since last year. Two weeks ago, the Syrian forces reached the center of the city

While the sources describing Monday’s massacre are supportive of Assad, it’s possible that it occurred since the rebel groups fighting the Assad regime are composed mainly of members of al-Qaeda and al-Qaeda affiliated groups and have committed war crimes and atrocities in the past.

Jabhat al-Nusra, the branch of al-Qaeda that fought and killed American and allied troops in Iraq, have positioned themselves in Syria and control the rebel movement.

Now why would a Christian President help the Muslim's wipe out Christians?

I don't know. Can you give me a hint?

> Obama is a Trojan horse. 47% will NEVER get it.

Oh they get THAT alright and want change; the only thing is 0 is lying about what that change is and they have no clue what they are about to get themselves into because they’ve been shielded, babied, and spoiled all their life. When the reality sets in there is going to be a lot of whining and sobbing going on as they realize they have no future other than to be a slave to the state.

Sorry I have to admit it, but a previous comment (make Juan (”Crash”) fly the plane to insure a “fly free” zone over Syria) was subtly intended to kinda reach the same end (for him).

Every time we side with the "rebels" we get something worse than what was there before.
Libya and Egypt are only two recent examples.

"Now why would a Christian President help the Muslim's wipe out Christians?"

The official response is, "What difference does it make now?"

It's obvious why Obama backs these people. What I cannot understand is why Congress gives Obama the money to support these evil murderers.

So, now I’m going to cheer for Assad’s Syrian Army, because it is defending Christians from a genocidal assault by muslims backed by my own government?

Wow.

Unfortunately it is now obvious we have a traitor in the white house whose agenda will only end in the takeover of our republic by socialist, focusing on this as true, how long will it be before the American people decide the whole lot of these scumbags have to go..

We are on the edge of a coup by the obamma administration and if we turn away we will suffer the consequences..

Let’s get real, our laws now only apply to those of us who work..time for a reset..

come on congress stop playing, let the legal summons fly, or we will have to boot you too..

Seeing these reports in print doesn’t carry much weight if they’re not accompanied by pics or better yet vids.

I don’t whether the people we are helping are any worse than Assad. Assad has been supporting terrorism for a long time.

But I notice that Israel seems to be siding with the Rebels. And my guess is that Israel knows both sides pretty well. Or maybe I’m misinterpreting it, and Israel is just trying to keep weapons entering Syria to a minimum.

Israel is helping whoever is losing at the moment, count on it. They have channels to both sides and want to keep them killing one another as long as possible.

I really do not think Israel is siding with any Jihadi group. That would be like trying to make friends with one of Medusa’s snake heads while not getting bit by the others.

All of Islam is evil, every last bit of it. Even Jeffery Dhalmer took breaks between killings, nobody called him a moderate killer.

Israel is trying to control what happens to the weapons . Assad is no ones friend and he is a terrorist to boot but he is dug and has MUCH to lose . Now the other side is not dug and doesn't have much to lose . If you have a lot to lose you are easier to control with a threat , Assad knows if Israel wants to kill him they can at any minute and because of that he doesn't make a habit of sending his hordes across the border into Israel . Someone who hasn't got millions to watch over and all Assad's comforts don't have much to lose and are much more apt to send their henchmen across the border into Israel.

It was the same with Egypt and Mubarak (he had lots to lose) and Gaddafi too .

Rich dictators set in their comforts think twice about starting things themselves ... they don't want to find themselves hiding in holes.

This is an important article - so thanks for posting it, but - reading it makes me cast down.

What the Christians of Syria have suffered is unbearable to think about. The whole city of Aleppo is wrecked, it used to be most prosperous, and the Christian community were the leaders.
