When is the Rapture ?
Jesus is coming 2016 ^ | current | Jesus is coming 2016

Why I believe the Rapture of the Church

will take place between December 25, 2013,

and January 4, 2014

The Lord has been giving me pieces to a puzzle for the last 13 years, leading me to the date for the firstfruits Rapture of the Church. The puzzle ends between December 25, 2013, and January 4, 2014. I very strongly believe that the Rapture will take place on January 3/4, 2014. However, it is possible that the puzzle can end as early as December 25, 2013.

Jesus tells us to stay awake and watch. Where does the scripture tell us to figure out the date of his return?

Matthew 24 has not been fulfilled. First, the gospel must be preached to all tongues.

No date picking....it isnt kosher. If the Son of God didnt know the date, no way on earth anyone here does either

Read the article first.

The scripture references are in the article.

The Bible says that no one knows when the Rapture will be. So you can bet that when someone sets a date, then the Rapture will NOT be then.

Look ... I’m glad you believe what the Bible says, in that there really is going to be a Rapture ... but ... you’re going to have to leave off the dates.

I do see that the Bible tells us that we’ll know the season of his coming, but that doesn’t mean we can set a calendar with it (in terms of the Rapture). I do see - on the other hand - that we can predict, down to the very day itself, when Jesus comes back to earth to set up his Kingdom — once the Tribulation time has started.

Right now, the most I’m willing to say about it (the Rapture) is that it looks like it will be sometime during my lifetime, if I live it out normally.

HOWEVER ... do come back and talk to us again on January 5th ... :-) ...

As the Good Book says, it will come like a thief in the night, no one knows the date or time.

I’d be more focused on events....like the covenant of Daniel’s 70th week, which is about to be crammed down Israel’s throat. Once that covenant goes down, (Daniel 9:27, “gabar”), then we have about 3+ years to the abomination.

No one but God the father knows the date and time of the end of the world.

Besides that, the rapture is not believable, where some are taken and some left behind.

We’ll never know, as we’ll be dead when it happens.

We went through this last year with the Mayan calendar. Comet ISON also figured into predictions for this year. I could probably dig into the Bible and make any date I choose seem reasonable. Just keep walking the walk and it doesn’t matter when the road ends.

You mention your puzzle. Care to enlighten us as to your logic/evidence? I actually have a different date in mind—also based on clues I’ve been seeing.

Since I’m “Post trib, pre-wrath”, I think we have at least another 3.5 years.

I came across this study on the subject a few years ago: http://www.watchmanbiblestudy.com/biblestudies/Definitions/PreTrib.htm

To be clear, I was pre-trib when I first became a Christian (I went to an AG church). Then I studied the subject...
