When is the Rapture ?
Jesus is coming 2016 ^ | current | Jesus is coming 2016

Why I believe the Rapture of the Church

will take place between December 25, 2013,

and January 4, 2014

The Lord has been giving me pieces to a puzzle for the last 13 years, leading me to the date for the firstfruits Rapture of the Church. The puzzle ends between December 25, 2013, and January 4, 2014. I very strongly believe that the Rapture will take place on January 3/4, 2014. However, it is possible that the puzzle can end as early as December 25, 2013.

IMHO, not smart to date set.

IAW pre-trib, pre-mil eschatology, when I re-read Rev6, I don’t see Obama as the AC, only because I don’t see him fulfilling the breaking of the first Seal, riding the white horse as a conqueror.

I think we are witnessing many preliminary steps leading up to a one world government.

I think everything we built in the middle east has been prestaged for perhaps one world govt types to build a new leadership hub for world governance perhaps leading to the actual Babylon. I suspect that is the direction Hillary is taking things.

I see the US being removed from world history as having any future critical role in world history, other than as an example of destruction.

The gospel has been preached to ALL languages? There are no unreached people-groups? I don’t think so.

Just like a twinkling, how long is a moment in G_d’s timetable? LOL! Praise Jesus. For those expecting the Rapture, it can’t happen soon enough.

Matthew 24 has not been fulfilled. First, the gospel must be preached to all tongues.

If you really study Matthew 24, you will see that the context of the passage relates to Israel and, hence, the Jewish people. It does not relate to the Church. It relates to people who are earth at the time of it's fulfillment. That includes lost people, which will include the Jewish remnant, who come to Christ after the Rapture of the church.

There is NOTHING in the prophetic Scriptures that must be fulfilled before the Church is removed.

As much as the world is going to Traditionally Celebrate Christmas...on December 25 that date...which youve included in your time frame it has nothing to do with anything spiritual in any real sense.

It December 25th is a date that was chosen to Draw people away...from a Pagan Celebration Held...strangely enough on that very date.

This prophecy road is wrought with trap doors U turns and such..

In the twinkling of an eye, maybe? But there will be a trumpet sound a moment before.

Which Jesus puts after the Great Tribulation by his description of
1. a tribulation greater than has ever been seen in history or will ever be seen in history followed by
2. his return visible to all nations of the earth and
3. the subsequent gathering of his people from all corners, so to speak, of the earth.
As in the order of 1, 2, 3?

Maybe the order of events described by Jesus in Matthew 24 will make things a bit clearer:
1. ...then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

2. Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened...

3. ...then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

4. ...he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Boiled down a bit more so as to not get lost in all the words:
1. Great tribulation such as has never been seen or will be seen.

2. Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven, seen by everyone on earth.

3. Sound of trumpet and angels collecting elect throughout the earth.
And now again:
1. Great tribulation.
2. Jesus returns.
3. Trumpet sounded. (see 1 Corinthians 15:52).
4. Angels sent.
5. Believers gathered (after the evildoers are taken out of their midst, as in one shall be taken and one left). (see 1 Corinthians 15:23)

The context of the passage is followers of Christ.

3 As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the [b]end of the age?”

4 And Jesus answered and said to them, “See to it that no one misleads you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the [c]Christ,’ and will mislead many. 6 You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. 8 But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.

9 “Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. 10 At that time many will [d]fall away and will [e]betray one another and hate one another. 11 Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. 12 Because lawlessness is increased, [f]most people’s love will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. 14 This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole [g]world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Zamboni. Jesus himself doesn't know the day and the hour, only the father (Mark 13:32). "In an hour that you think not, the Son of Man comes" (Matt 24:44; Luke 12:40).

We should be alert to the times and seasons and not be "in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief" (1 Thess 5:1, 4).

We miss the mark trying to predict a particular time period (hour, day, month, year, etc). The Bible says even Jesus doesn't know. Let's stick to God's word and realize the point here is to be aware of the signs and the times, as we give light to those in darkness before Jesus' return.

For a long while I kept confusing rapture with rupture.

Using the Jewish Wedding process, I would guess that the Rapture will call the Bride out, before the greatest of the tribulations. Then, at the end of the seven years, He will once again set foot on the Mountaintop. At the Rapture, we will be caught up together in the clouds to me the Lord IN THE AIR. The Rapture is not when He sets foot on Earth again. It is when His Bride is called out to meet the wedding party and go to the wedding feast.

If the Son of God didnt know the date, no way on earth anyone here does either

The reason the Son of God didn't know the date is that God didn't set a date.

God set a CONDITION.

It's like the idea of Guam tipping over. When enough of mankind allows evil to dominate over good, over it goes.

No Christians left on earth to stand against the anti-christ during his reign?!?

If all the Christians “fly away”, who will testify against satan for all the world to see?
