Televangelist Joel Osteen says homosexuality is a sin but he doesn't "preach" about it and isn't against "anybody" who is gay.
"I believe that scripture says that it's a sin but I always follow up by saying you know what, we're not against anybody," he added.
"There's a lot of things, Larry, and I don't understand — so I just don't want to preach on it, preach about it," Osteen replied.

The abomination means that it is not just a sin but a great sin that is deceiving in nature and can be easily spread. It is a thing to be abhorred and shunned. For a preacher, priest or rabbi to not preach about the sin of homosexuality is a stain on their soul. They will be called into account for this dereliction.
Can’t keep up the mortgage payments on a basketball arena if GLAAD and GLSEN launch boycotts on ya, I guess.

Larry King is right sort of. Homosexual attractions are no more sins than heterosexual ones. What are sins are acting out homosexual attractions or those attractions to fornication, child abuse and adultery to name a few. Another sin is to celebrate and approve of those acts. A further sin is to condemn the person who engages in the acts.

I always like him when I see him on someones show.
Many of his followers are likely to be divorcd and remarried—he will probably avoid pounding the pulpit on adultery too. It’s all about the money.
I maintain that something similar is what “infects” our elected congressmen when they get to DC.
