WHEN? In at least 10 major wars, in 18+ conflict situations from the 1898 Spanish American War to the Persian Gulf War and even to the present War on Terrorism, which is like no other war.
WHO? More than 1,000,000 lives in the 10 major wars given up for something of greater value, something having a more pressing claim.
WHY? Not to aggressively seek to get or to gain what someone else has, whether it be land, power or wealth (see James 4:1-3), but to DEFEND our nation “and secure the Blessing of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America” which is being threatened from within and from without. God's Word opposes internationalism because a one world government opens the door to the total control of a society by a system which cannot and will not do right of and by itself. See Genesis 11:1-9 and Revelation chapters 17-18.
GOD'S WORD teaches that nations are for restraining and maintaining a balance of power among nations for peaceful existence. A nation may be led to want or to possess what belongs to other nations, but they are hindered from such because of other nations. Each nation is able to maintain the God-given privilege of choosing God and His Word, of marriage, of family, of law and order. The nations, consisting of families, have the right to defend their territories.
GEORGE WASHINGTON told his troops: “The time is near at hand which must probably determine whether Americans are to be freemen or slaves; whether they are to have any property they can call their own; whether their houses and farms are to be pillaged and destroyed, and themselves consigned to a state of wretchedness from which no human effort will deliver them. The fate of unborn millions will now depend, under God, on the courage and conduct of this army.”

PRINCIPLE: When those who know and remember fail to teach and to display to the following generation their rights, responsibilities and privileges, it is only a matter of time until they, by neglect, fail to appreciate and guard the freedoms American men and women have paid for with the loss of their lives and the loss of their limbs (Judges 2:7, 10, 11).
As the nation of Israel had the right to choose life and blessing in their land and lives (Deut. 30:19-20) because of the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ (Isaiah 53; Lev. 16-17), so we can choose Him and the resultant LIFE and BLESSING by an act of our own will: “But as many as received HIM, to them gave HE power to become the sons [children] of God, even to them that believe on His Name.” “He that hath the Son hath LIFE; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” John 1:12; 1 John 5:12.

I lost some very close friends, brothers, in war. Some were at my side. May they be with the Savior in peace.
Reflection and Remembrance ...
This morning I wept and could not stop. God Bless you.
We were a great nation. We are now an obamination before God.
The remnant, very small, still worships in truth and in grace. The remnant do not attend Rick Warren’s Saddleback or Joel Osteen’s basketball stadium churches.
Many of us never attend any church. Pollution is pollution.
God is not a social movement or a slickly packaged entry into one’s wallet. Jesus chased them out of the temple with a whip and threw down their tables, and called the religious leaders of the day vipers, likened them to whitewashed tombs filled with dead men’s bones.
So as it was then, it is today. Joel Osteen is a sociopath, as is his wife.
If you were left on a desert island with nothing but your Bible, you would be okay. You would absolutely be okay.
One final thought and I will be done. The Americans who died, were maimed and forever blighted by war, are in my thoughts and in my prayers. They were and are the best of us and they deserve our gratitude, no matter how badly they were served by our so-called leaders.
Peace is not the absence of war. Peace is victory, unconditional surrender. America learned this at Versailles and unlearned it in Korea. We have lost and retreated ever since. Post WWII we are scoreless. All those wonderful men and women were fed into a meat grinder for no reason. That is why I wept today.
And I have earned the right to say so. 24 years Naval intelligence officer, sworn to uphold, defend, protect, and preserve the Constitution of the United States of America, against all enemies foreign and domestic.
Well, God Bless America. I no longer can. The blood is on their hands, not mine.

All these lives 1898 to the present were not given to protect U.S. soil. They were given to protect the freedom of the World. Liberals realize what we would be willing to give up to protect America and that is why they want to take our 2nd Amendment rights away from us.
