Three American friends have been taken to hospital after reportedly becoming 'possessed' by evil spirits while playing with a Ouija board. Alexandra Huerta, 22, was playing the game with her brother Sergio, 23, and 18-year-old cousin Fernando Cuevas at a house in the village of San Juan Tlacotenco in south-west Mexico. But minutes into it, she apparently started 'growling' and thrashing around in a 'trance-like' state.

They restrained Alexandra to prevent her from hurting herself, before treating the three with painkillers, anti-stress medication and eye drops, which seemingly worked.

Victor Demesa, 46, the director of public safety in the nearby town of Tepoztlan, said: 'The medical rescue of these three young people was very complicated.

My first and only visit to a Catholic Church I was denied communion for not being Catholic.

30+ years later it’s a bitter memory.

Anything that is not of the Spirit of God is witchcraft.

Remember, as you judge others, you too shall also be judged.

There will be a judgement day whether we judge or not.

Stand before God and tell Him you exercised no judgement...trapdoor to hell!!

Oh God, you mean my dog. Tinker is witchcraft?!!

Is there any ceremony I need to perform before putting the cute little girl down? She's been a good girl. This is gonna break my wife's heart.

How about my toilet plunger? I really need to keep it around. Is there some kind of dispensation I can offer?

“There will be a judgement day whether we judge or not.

Judgement is much like judging a person’s ability to swim. If they drowned, they can’t swim. We don’t need to judge them, reality does. If they let go of heavy attachments like gold or precious attachments that weight them down, it increases their ability to swim. So it is with the human soul trying to get to Heaven.

A person that holds onto evil thoughts cannot exist in the presence of God and thus they are relegated to the lower realms hiding from God’s Love & Light.

Often it is self-judgement itself that stops a person from going to Heaven. I’ve encountered it often. Children who blame themselves for their parent’s divorce and commit suicide is just one example. Parents who blame themselves for not being a better parent when their child dies is another.

One of the most bizarre situations I encountered was a young Italian man who when he was prepared for burial, was dressed in a black suit. Apparently in his family in Italy an unmarried man is buried in a white suit and a married man is buried in a black suit. His belief relegated him to being an angry nasty ghost when I first met him.

God Loves us unconditionally... Our self-judgement blocks us from accepting God’s unconditional Love. That does not mean that if you don’t self judge you are fine. Your soul, a creation of God always knows the difference between right and wrong. We just tend to ignore that voice from within.

You met a ghost? Are you serious?

I am no expert... the more I learn the more I realize I don’t know. Every question answered leads to ten more unanswered. It’s a very humbling journey.

When both the chiles and the beans spoil bad things happen. Don't eat old burritos!

Have read and heard a couple creepy stories.

<><><><

And isnt that the way it always seems to go with Ouija board stories ... we’ve heard or read about them, but finding someone who will admit that they were themselves impacted by the Ouija board is so much more difficult.

Except for on anonymous internet forums.

merely misguided

How does this happen? Do we have a choice where we go after we die?

“Plus it takes a Ok from a bishop or a cardinal. and there are only a few priests that can to them.”

You need to move out of your R.C. bubble. Dad was a Baptist minister, and through the years we had many missionaries stay at our home while on furlough from the mission field. I can’t even count how many of them told stories of casting out demons. No fol-de-rol. No “holy water”. No hierarchy of some church to give an OK. No born-again Christian needs a “Mother, may I?” from someone in a goofy hat to rebuke Satan and his minions.

A born-again Christian has the Holy Spirit within him and He has power over evil. John 4:4 - “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you (the Holy Spirit), than he that is in the world (Satan).”

We had a Ouija board when I was a kid.

My sister and I, and or friends would play with it when we were really little. Nothing ever happened.

BUT....my mother and father used it and according to them, got answers.
They would ask it questions about where the Army would move them next or sex of unborn babies...stuff like that.
I never saw them use it, I was just told.

They really believed. They said the answers were correct.
Now my parents were not stupid people. My father was extremely intelligent and kind, but was agnostic.

My mother was not kind. Bipolar maybe. My husband thinks she was truly evil.

I wouldn’t touch a Ouija board today.
