So simply wanting to be left alone makes one a fascist?

My brother has long said that the US is a theocracy “just like Iran”.
I have a neighbor who thinks Republicans want complete control over every aspect of everyone’s lives. Fortunately, she has a list of about 500 proposed laws that, if put in place by the Democrats, would block the rightwing’s plans.

We do have a state church now, which every citizen must join or suffer the consequences. It is socialist-humanism.
Corporations only exist as partners of the state, allowed limited autonomy as long as they serve the state and run their affairs under the guidelines of the state church.

Proverbs 14:12 and Psalm 2
It doesn’t look good for C. J.

"Their strategy is to control state and federal legislatures, and the courts in a way that says, 'We dont care what the American people want.'"
"The Christian Right has not only moved from the fringes to become the main strain of the Republican Party; it is the Republican Party."
"The immediate goal of this renewed effort to 'maximize the faith vote' is to help the GOP win in key Senate races, especially in battleground states like Kentucky, Georgia, Arkansas, Louisiana and North Carolina."
So he's overtly calling for either disenfranchising voters whose votes he disapproves of, or overturning or ignoring the results of elections when the people vote "the wrong way." And he has the gall to call us "fascists." The projection is strong in this one.

Corporate Theocracy?
I don’t think so.
An interesting side note, though.
Were not all of the founders who signed the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution God-fearing men?

If fascism comes to America, it will not be identified with any shirt movement, nor with an insignia, but it will probably be wrapped up in the flag and heralded as a plea for liberty and preservation of the constitution, wrote in a 1936 issue of The Christian Century. Nobel Laureate recipient Sinclair Lewis put it even more succinctly when he warned, It [fascism] would come wrapped in the flag and whistling the Star Spangled Banner. Fascism is a political-economic model in which corporations are privately owned, but they are micromanaged by the State. Like when Hitler took over Volkswagen and dictated what cars they would produce, how they would produce them and when.
Or when the Nazis dictated what benefits companies would provide their employees, even down to what pills they would provide.
Or when they dictated who would be hired and in what numbers. And what they would be payed.

Exactly. If the left only gets 99.5 % of what they want instead of 0.05 %, the “radical religious right is taking over!!!!”.

I just wish Christan conservatives wouldn't use such combative and disrespectful language against their opponents. The incivility of our political discourse is poisoning our culture.
Oh wait.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
Anything the left accuses the Right of doing, they're doing themselves 10-fold
whether the Right is or not. This person is not even a Closet Communist, he's
printing right out of the Communist play book.
Most Americans have no idea how Communists and Socialists operate and
believe it's just something that happened once in history. They are a threat.
