Well we all know my answer. We have a number of post VII popes attending non-Catholic services (Jewish and Lutheran come to mind), encouraging interfaith prayer (Assisis), asking Catholic saints to protect the false religion Islam, kissing Korans, etc and we still have Catholics thinking everything is just honky dory with all of them. Many see issues with Francis only because he is more in your face and holds NOTHING back. He is Vatican II personified but every post Vatican II pope is guilty of some of the same things namely false ecumenism.
