Amen! People are won to Christ one heart at a time and we must never give up the preaching of the gospel of the grace of God which is by faith in Jesus Christ our Lord. One day, at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
With Islam, appeasement is the surest way to defeat! They do not respect it and will steamroll over those who suggest it.
Sure sounds like St. John Damascene had Islam figured out. Thanks for posting his words. Do you have a link I can save for future reference?
The Vatican II Council would be part of the ordinary and universal magisterium. The OUM teaches infallibly. Therefore, assuming true authority was present, these teachings would be infallible.

I have to be honest. I have zero interest in reading up on Islam. I do have a question however. Men get these 72 virgins, which to me just seems disgusting. What do women get? Why do they follow this foolishness? I just don't get it. I know they are stuck in the past, but they are not all stuck in the past. I know part of the reason they don't like to educate women or men for that matter is they don't question. But I really don't see why they do this.
Islam reminds me of the dumb club rules we made up as children. No one was killed for not participating however.
