St Paul and St Peter were there...these other “fathers” were 4 centuries or more removed and were never in any spiritual position to question what Paul or Peter did or said. I consider them the same as many modern Christian commentators living in our era. They can be useful to clarify certain teachings and controversies but they must all be taken with a grain of salt and compared with the original source material...that is the Bible!
