My take is that Ted, like a lot of us, assumed that these Christians would be somewhat appreciative of fellow Christian support.
Considering the spokesman for the group said the disrupters were there for that precise purpose, how would one know in advance or prepare for infiltration?
For now I am convinced Cruz would be our best at POTUS, from almost every perspective. Although many things can change between now and 2016 Primaries.
I don’t see anyone on the horizon that even compares.
Assuming Ted Cruz does know his audience, his plan was to be extremely clear about being a pro-Israel conservative.
I think he knew.
He might have expected a bit more open-mindedness from those protected here in fortress America, but I’ve no doubt that he knew he would stand up for Israel and for Christianity at this conference.

Being boooed by the enemy for standing up for conservative principles is not a bad ploy. Cruz clearly understands he is unlikely to get the liberal muslim loving vote, so no loss there.
Cruz has caught the attention of reporters more than once for his ability to speak without notes and without teleprompter. It is truly a gift.
But, no notes does not equal no plan.
When I speak each Sunday I have my points clearly in mind. I just don’t like reading things to people. Might just as well mail them the sermon and have them save the gas. Jonathon Edwards might not approve, but he didn’t live in a media age.

The “gift’ is a matter of perspective. The lib MSM is and will try to turn it to a liability.
IMO, I think much of America is ready for a Ted Cruz, who has his message in his heart, not on some teleprompter. His passion for what’s right and good for America has already begun to resonate beyond the “choir”.
As to NBC eligibility, I think he clearly meets it, but for those nay sayers, to quote hitlery “what difference does it now make” once the precedent has been set.
Cruz is definitely my front runner. The only one who comes close is Jeff Sessions, and he doesn’t appear to be interested in the presidency. That’s OK because we need a real conservative or two in the Senate. Wish he could become Majority Leader, but I’m putting my money on Rob Portman overthrowing Mitch McConnell.
Portman used to be my congressman....very conservative back then. Although I don’t think it’s the case, I’d like to discover that he’s been doing a liberal rope-a-dope to fool the GOP-E, and that the old Portman will return and reveal that his turn toward the establishment GOP has been subterfuge all along.
