Probably about 20% at the highest. I doubt that was a bishop you heard say that it was 50%; sounds like Michael Rose.

Protestant. Heh. Nice, meaningless catch-all.

Whether a bishop said it or not, I tend to think, given the state of Catholic seminaries post-Vatican II, 50% is absolutely plausible.

How ridiculous! I’ve know hundreds of Priests, I’ve got great Gaydar, and only ONE has been Gay. PLUS he said a Bishop said this. I think he told a big fat one!

He may be lying. Doesn’t matter to me. Having said that, you’ve known *hundreds* of priests? You sure *that’s* not an exaggeration on your part?

Just because you didn’t pick up on it, doesn’t mean they are not gay. Have you even read “Goodbye Good Men”? The seminaries were packed with gay or gay friendly priests.

Say, did you purposely choose the name of a schismatic organization for your screen name?

I;ve moved around the country a LOT and even lived in London....volunteered at most of the places, and yes I have met hundreds of Priests.

Are you a Catholic? If so, you have a bad outlook about the Priests.

This article is about faggots within the Church of England.

Why drag the Roman Catholics into it? It has nothing to do with them. The Church of England is vehemently (even violently) NOT Roman Catholic.

Pius V is the name of a schismatic organization? I guess I should chalk that up to the usual Novus Ordo ignorance of the Traditional Church.

I have a realistic outlook on the state of post Vatican II seminaries.

Oh, please, don’t even make like anyone could confuse that Pius V is a name of anyone other than a pope... and as if we don’t both know that the Society of Pope Pius V is a sedevacantist schism.

I actually had forgotten about them. No, I did not choose Pius V for that reason. I chose him because he is a strong Traditional Pope.

That’s what Germaine Greer said. About the men, anyway.
