Man vs Food, Ping!
When I fold my sons' laundry, instead of dumping it in a pile (like they would), I enjoy the thought of those burning coals.
Any old or new fashioned sin can send one to hell. Only forgiveness through Jesus Christ atonement and believe in and follow the Lord saves one.
I am going to hell, because I lie to myself about how much I am eating....
I’m missing number 7.
When I used to live in a retirement home, I remember if I would leave my clothes inside the washer, the old ladies would always take it out dry it and leave it folded in the basket.
But what if the person never finds out? What if its just for convenience? Or what if its for a greater good?
Nope, lying is still lying, and its still wrong.
Lying is telling a falsehood with the intention of deceiving, and its always wrong because its an offense against the Truth, which is Christ (John 14.6).
Well, there go all the Bloggers to Hell right there.
Just damn.
Bummer.. see you there. “Ok everyone back on your heads!”
I used to do that at the Laundromat. You’re just hanging around, anyway.
It’s different with my sons, though: they’re supposed to take care of their own wash.
Wow! You must be one of those sweet old ladies.
Fiend!
I would think about someone coming back to find his or laundry folded in a basket, and then I’d be happy.
Maybe they’ll feel terribly guilty, someday, about being so self-absorbed ... and then they’ll start being pleasant to people.
We are all sinners and destined for hell. Every person one the earth.
But Christ paid the price that sin. All we have to do is acknowledge and embrace Him as our Savior and all that sin is covered for us and we are given eternal life.
He will be our defender in the courts of heaven and say that we are His.
Satan lies and tells us we are not good enough and we have committed sins that are can’t be forgiven. Or he will lie to us and tell us that we just keep committing the same sins so it is a hopeless situation. But those are lies told to destroy us.
We are free in Christ!
We guys catch on to subtle suggestions like that... ;-)
I’ve been to 3 restaurants noted by MvF: a roast beef sandwich restaurant in Baltimore and a drive-in in Indianapolis for its breaded tenderloin sandwich and had great meals at both. and a German Restaurant in the old German section of Columbus, Ohio, near where a great aunt and uncle lived when I was a kid.
Note, ate one sandwich at each place and none had a ‘gluttony challenge.’
Well if deeds can buy salvation I would say you’re going straight to heaven. I guess we have already adequately hijacked this entire thread talking about folded laundry.

21 So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22 For in my inner being I delight in Gods law; 23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. 24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!
So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to Gods law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.
