This writer says that black parents have “the talk” with their children about how to behave themselves around police officers.
Yet by all accounts Michael Brown did not behave around police based on “the talk”. Did Michael not have this talk with his parents? Did Michael ignore this advice from his parents and decided to be belligerent and antagonistic to a cop???
Blacks are living as victims, once we beat segregation it was over. Blacks could have a good culture, but they keep living in the past, playing victims. ***most*** blacks. If they took their struggle as a source of pride and victory, shrugging off slavery and segregation it would be fine.
I don’t care about what happened to my ancestors hundreds of years ago, it was a different time. I’m certainly not going to be “victimized” for wrongs done to them.
OK, let’s take a look around the world where “white systems” are not in place.... well... uh... no thanks.
And, BTW, I don’t believe in the concept of “white systems”. I believe in Western, Judeo-Christian based societies and economies and see the resultant success of those economies for those that play by those rules.
I also see societies and economies that have eschewed those values, and I see misery, poverty, and disease.
