Probably the only chance these people get to hear the truth about Christ, and that he is Lord and Savior. But, the point she is bringing up is that it wouldn’t be tolerated by muslims.
Those who appear that way are of two classifications: those practicing taqiyya, and those whom the true Muslims brand as apostate. They consider the latter even more deserving of death than we Infidels.
Vaporizing the much worshipped piece of rock in Mecca would be a good start.
I’ve been to mosques before and I’m not a Muslim. How would anyone even know if you’re praying or not?
Maybe I'm missing something here. Post 25 was my comment.
That really has nothing to do with this incident, does it?
There is only one God, called by many names. When people pray, the only God there is, hears that prayer.
They were worshipping God in their fashion.
Pretty rude behavior on your part
Because He said so. "For God so loved the World, He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
That's a damned lie. There is only ONE way to God (and NO, He does NOT HAVE MANY NAMES), and that is through Jesus Christ. Just because someone "prays," in no way means they're praying to God or that He acknowledges their prayers.
Yes I know. I courtesy pinged you as I replied to Sherman.
Oh, sorry. Got it.
Why do you say that? It’s the National Cathedral, you don’t think anyone in their can’t just go to a Christian church if they want to? They could just sit there for a little while after all this, and there would probably be a Christian service they wouldn’t even have to leave the building for.
The moneychangers in the Temple were not even pretending to be engaged in a religious service. They were at the entry to the temple cheating and making money off those who were on their way in to offer sacrifice.
The analogy in this case would be if the lady had attacked dishonest vendors set up outside the cathedral entrance.
BTW, the Temple of Jesus’ day was not a building, it was a huge complex of courtyards and structures.
How could you possibly know what God hears?
God's Word tells us this. Proverbs 28:9 and Jeremiah 11:14, for just a couple of examples of how just because someone "prays" doesn't mean the Lord listens.
It’s nice that you believe this. Many others, do not.
An extremist Muslim wants to kill all unbelievers
A moderate Muslim wants extremist Muslims to kill all unbelievers.
The service held inside the Episcopal church was meant to promote interfaith prayer and improve global relations between Muslims and Christians, according to church and Muslim group organizers.
