Given that we've spent the past 40 or 50 years proving that serial polygamy is pretty much a disaster for children, why not let them as wants to try it go back to parallel polygamy?
I say, any man who's masochistic enough to try being married to more than one woman at a time ought to be allowed to do so. At least the kids will know who their daddy is.
Well, a lot of the abusive polygamists were hardline fanatic religious zealots. There is that show on TLC where the family seems to work, and the kids seem fine. *shrug*, don’t really care, as long as my opinion isn’t forced on me.

Once the definition of marriage changed from “man and woman” it is inevitable that the next thing to change is “one”. No doubt in my mind that if courts are consistent they will have to permit this-—to the Muslims’ approval. Next will come child marriage and animal marriage, perhaps not in that order.
