I know the power of prayer and I humbly ask for your prayers today for my grandson. He was born last evening at around 8:00, full term, and he appeared healthy.
This morning came the heart-wrenching news that he is having difficulty breathing. He's being transported to Egleston this morning for what my son was told will be a procedure similar to an angioplasty.

Prayers. So sorry for your family.
Thank you everyone for your prayers of faith. I haven’t had time to read through all of them, but I feel so strengthened and uplifted and encouraged.
My son Scott called with a quick update. Medicine was used to open the pulmonary artery and Daniel Joseph is able to breathe. Praise God!!!!
Although we’re thankful for medicine, our hope is and will remain in the Lord. We’re praying for total healing. In addition to you all, I’ve also contact the churches and our prayer warrior friends - so there are hundreds - maybe thousands - praying now for our precious baby boy!!
I’ll update as I’m able but wanted to take time to thank you all. Please continue with the prayers. May the Lord bless you for your faithfulness.

Almighty God in Heaven, Creator of all that is, in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and by His atoning sacrifice I come to you in prayer for the life of this little child. You know him better than anyone else does, and you know exactly what he needs. I pray that you bless the medical and nursing staff with skill and wisdom, that you cover the baby with your grace, and that you fill his parents and grandparents with a peace that surpasses all understanding. We trust you, and know that in all things you are supremely capable and flawless. Thank you for your love, mercy, and grace. In the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I ask these these and praise you for he outcome.

First, I want to assure you that your prayers are not inadequate. God hears your families cries for help. Still, the more the merrier. It is a gift to me to be able to pray for you.
I joined with your powerful prayer this morning asking God to have mercy on your family and the baby He gave to you. I prayed that all the baby’s care takers be blessed and guided by the Lord. He’s always with you, so fear not.
