God bless you, Dick. Thank you for taking time to share with us.
I dislike the corporate “holiday” focus. The word is used in place of Christmas during commercials. The leftists have basically banned the term and made Christmas a private celebration. “This holiday,” “holiday tree,” “holiday list,” “holiday, holiday, holiday...” The word is a profanity to me. So I get rather grumbly watching my football games and hearing that term by the hundreds.
But last night I played Santa Claus for some little ones. I recommend that experience very heavily. The leftists and corporates can shove their nameless faceless holiday.
Merry Christmas!!!

Once, in America, leaders recognized that the Spirit and message of Christmas was essential to understanding the ideas of liberty:
"In the chain of human events, the birthday of the nation is indissolubly linked with the birthday of the Savior. The Declaration of Independence laid the cornerstone of human government upon the first precepts of Christianity." - John Quincy Adams, Address, Newburyport, July 4, 1837Peace and joy to you!!
For me, it’s still Advent.
Christmas is from Christmas Day through the Epiphany.
**Epiphany is traditionally celebrated in honor of Christ’s birth, of the adoration of the Magi, and of the baptism of Christ’s (also celebrated on the first Sunday following Epiphany), three manifestations of the Lord’s divinity.**
So, instead of Christmas Carols, I invite you to listen to these:
