The editors of HuffPost Religion have designated the religious leaders of Ferguson as our 2014 People of the Year.
From the first day when Michael Brown was shot, the religious leaders from Ferguson and surrounding areas put themselves in the center of the protests and the movement for equality and justice. Women and men, black and white, clergy and lay people of all religious backgrounds provided both a pastoral and a prophetic presence in a community devastated and activated by the shooting of an unarmed young black man by the police.
In no time in recent American history has it been made so plain how crucial religious leadership can be in protesting injustice as well as in providing avenues for healing and transformation....

Here is what the LCMS did in Ferguson, which was being part of the solution, instead of being part of the problem.

I can't even spell Manischewitz on a good day.
Thank goodness for 'Copy and Paste'. LOL

Instead of protesting ‘injustice’ they are promoting a false narrative that the police officer was a racist and a murderer. I hardly think that is edifying behavior from an clergy. Hate is a vice and that is what is driving their actions.

Thats not even Manischewitz ever-popular Concord Grape after dinner wine.I tried to convince our LCMS congregation that the Eucharist deserves better, but they won't budge, they've used it for decades and can't imagine the wine being anything else.

How can he walk with his pants that low. I am always tempted to go up and tug on the pants just to embarrass the dudes who dress like that.
I love to tell young kids what droopy pants REALLY means and they they are advertising.
