5 Feminist Pioneers Who Were Against Abortion
ChurchPOP ^ | 2015 | ChurchPOP

A lot feminists today insist that a person must be pro-choice to be pro-woman.

This is highly ironic since many first wave feminists were adamantly against abortion, and in fact many of the anti-abortion laws overturned by Roe v. Wade were put in place by pro-life feminists in the 19th century. Rather than viewing abortion a tool of female empowerment, they viewed abortion as a sign of the oppression of women by men.

Here are a few examples. Heard of any of these people?

Since you failed to list any, then no. I’ve not heard of them.

Right, they only ever post teaser text for a single blog, which I presume is the one they are trying to promote. Not what we’re looking for on FR.

Both Margaret Sanger and Marie Stopes were eugenicists and racists, but even they were opposed to abortion, which is carried out in their name by the foundations they established. The mindset of abortion being acceptable and a ‘human right’ was borne out of the perverted radicalism of the 1960s that was probably sponsored by the KGB and propagated by leftist useful idiots as per Yuri Bezmenov’s revelations.

Liars.

"Much as I deplore the horrible crime of child-murder, earnestly as I desire its suppression, I cannot believe . . . that such a law would have the desired effect. It seems to me to be only mowing off the top of the noxious weed, while the root remains. We want prevention, not merely punishment. We must reach the root of the evil, and destroy it" (Susan B. Anthony on abortion, "Marriage and Maternity," The Revolution)

"even a cat can be a mother" (Susan B. Anthony, quoted by B.V. Hubbard in "Socialism, feminism, and suffragism, the terrible triplets, connected by the same umbilical cord, and fed from the same nursing bottle" ).

[University of Southern Indiana, accessed 21JAN15]
"Tuesday, September 26, 2006...Feminist for Life at USI on October 17
The University’s Newman Catholic Student Ministry...'According to a release from Feminists for Life,...FFL has emerged as the link between the pro-life and pro-choice organizations, working on legislative efforts such as child support enforcement and the Violence Against Women Act,...'
"

"Then it will be plain that the first condition for the liberation of the wife is to bring the whole female sex back into public industry, and that this in turn demands the abolition of the monogamous family as the economic unit of society" (Frederick Engels, "Origins of the Family, Private Property, and the State").

Susan B. Anthony ranted in favor of “The Woman’s Bible” while referring to established religion as “old superstitions.”
