You may want to reflect on the last half of The Lord’s Prayer.
“...Forgive us our trespasses AS we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”
Is this instruction from Christ in vain?
Does it not apply to you?
God does “lead us to temptation”— right?
Are you suggesting Christ was in error when he taught us how to pray?
It is called “The Lord’s Prayer” for a reason.
Perhaps you misunderstand how that corresponds with the petition to “deliver us from evil”?
