That has to be the longest article that I have seen here. I guess I am not cut out to be a Catholic as I only could concentrate for the first couple paragraphs.

Yeah ... many of these doctrines we see today in that group are perversions of the Bible, except for the fact that no one can figure out how you can get these perversions from the Bible! ... LOL ...

As a Lutheran, I am little offended because author didn’t mention Luther as he believed in the Real Presence also.

Many Catholics who read this will be very surprised by what they learn...IF Catholics read this, they will be very surprised by what they learn...

The Roman Catholic Church has it's Catechism.

Some things require considerable length for continuity of thought.
This is important, as no one that believes that they receive salvation from anything devised by men has any hope for eternal life.

How come he has to misstate the doctrine? Why do so few Anti-Catholics talk about what we actually teach?
And why the bravado? The headline could have been “argues against” or “rebuts.” But, no, the writer has to claim a refutation, declaring victory before the battle is begun.
And then he very soon falsely represents the teaching. So he claims a refutation of what we don’t teach. Whoopie for him.
Im offended not on religious or doctrinal grounds. I’m offended on the grounds of the secular concerns of honesty and dialogue.

Well ... they do believe that Jesus is the Christ ... :-) ... along with being the Son of God and one of the Trinity. They do have a few things right.

When Bill Clinton once said “It all depends on what the meaning of the word “is” is, people laughed. However he was probably recalling a discussion in one of his mandatory theology classes at Georgetown in the mid 1960’s. When the priest during mass consecrates the host and says “This is the body of Christ”, Catholics do not believe that skin, muscle, bone etc is now there, but they do believe that as Christ said at the last supper, it is his mystical body. It is no longer just bread. Get it?
