Nothing says “tolerance” like militant atheism.

Have they dropped all this because Louisville is the only team left of the ones they are protesting? Since Coach Pitino says Father Ed Bradley is an “unofficial chaplain” they don’t have a case. All this is good because it makes militant atheists annoying to people who wouldn’t otherwise care.

these people are so disingenous and dissembling, if those are the right words.

I heard somebody from this organzation on one of the talk shows. He said that he’s in favor of everyone exercising religious freedom, but that his organization is concerned about separation of church and state, as relates to government endorsement or recognition of religion.

If that’s true, then, why in the sam hill do they take issue with colleges, which are not “the government”, having chaplains???? Do these people make any sense at all???

I’m guessing they’ll say any university that takes money from the state and/or federal government can’t have a chaplain because that would be the state establishing a religion.

There has been an attempt to force religious schools who take state or federal money to adopt secular ideas but I guess the Freedom From Religion Foundation doesn’t want that fight this year.
