Those of us who believe do so for a very good reason...we have a relationship with the Lord with first hand knowledge that our prayers work...
Several years ago, I made up some bumper stickers and I just saw one on a local car the other day when we first heard from you...tears!

Not all prayers are answered that quickly. Since I started working full time in 1981, I've had three periods of unemployment.
The first was the scariest, 1988, which required an international move to a new job. It only lasted two months. The second was in 1994 when I gave that company the traditional two weeks notice and they decided to let me go early, so no pressure really as it was only a few days. The third, in 2002, was also two months and required an international move. So, I've been blessed.
I was also blessed in 2008 NOT to take what seemed like a better job offer because our company was changing ownership. It turned out that the change in ownership was better for me than the new job offer would've been.
We don't always recognize our blessings until some time after we receive them!
