Being a Christian in today’s culture is starting to feel a bit like being the only sober person at the party.
Consider this news story, published yesterday by the National Post:
After successfully lobbying provincial and federal governments to make it easier to amend sex designations on key identity documents, transgender Canadians are now pushing for another change: to abolish gender references altogether from birth certificates.The B.C. Human Rights Tribunal has agreed to review complaints filed by the Trans Alliance Society and a handful of transgender and intersex individuals, who argue that doctors should stop assigning the sex of a baby based on a quick inspection of the baby’s genitals at birth when there’s a possibility they may identify under a different gender, or no gender, years later.
“Birth certificates (may) give false information about people and characterize them in a way that is actually wrong, that assumes to be right, and causes people … actual harm,” said Morgane Oger, a transgender woman in Vancouver and chair of the society.
“It’s considered true and infallible when it isn’t.”
Putting aside the irony of Ms. Oger’s use of words like “true” and “infallible” in defence of a worldview where no such concepts exist, it seems we’re now so far down the rabbit hole that we are expected to accept that each and every person can live his or her (forgive the transphobia) life in whichever reality they decide to conjure up.

because in today’s crazy world, we are considered the crazy ones. We are considered to be intolerant and hateful, if we don’t enable these transwhatever people. We are considered hateful and dangerous if we don’t celebrate their diversity.
Not sure how our culture shifted so that the lunatic fringe can dictate to the rest of us how to behave and how to think about things.

In a world of at least 56 different gender identities, to talk of male and female babies is considered a relic of the past. It’s “binary” to talk of just male and female. To liberals, it’s bad to look at sexuality issues in terms of male and female, because that is so limiting.
And the liberals have decided that sex and gender is a concept which is rooted in how you feel, not based on something so crude as what someone has below the belt. These liberals are shocked, just shocked, that someone would evaluate genitalia as some indicator of gender identity.
A penis is a penis and a vagina is a vagina. Males have a penis and females have a vagina. No amount of kooky-talk is going to change these facts. I agree with the writer of the article, it does feel like you’re the only sober person in the room. This is beyond ridiculous and insane.
In 50 years the doctor will ask the parents “What gender do you want me to put down?” Do you want to start “gender reassignment now or later?”
The world is insane.

Doesn’t the entire identity of “tran” rely on being biologically something and psychologically something else? So if you eliminate the biological identification, how can a person “trans” later? Wouldn’t demanding no identification eliminate the “T” identity category? And if you eliminate it, how do they switch? If you were not a male to begin with, how to you transition into a female?
The left increasingly makes no logical sense whatsoever. I still wonder why you cannot change your sexual orientation but you can change you gender. That makes NO SENSE at all.
Doctors don't assign the sex of a baby. GOD does that. Doctors merely write down what God assigned.
I bought another motorcycle last Thursday. It’s one I’ve wanted for quite some time and I’m really excited about it. When I went to the MVD to get the title transferred I ran into a brick wall (figuratively). On the title, under “body style”, it says “ATV”, while everybody who looks at the machine says “yep, that’s a motorcycle”. It is requiring mountains of paperwork and numerous verifications from MVD workers and state police to try and just attempt to get the title corrected. In America now, it has become easier for a person to get the ‘box’ on their birth certificate indicating their sex changed to what they are not, than it is to correct a mistake indicating body style on a motor vehicle title.
Good article. Christians and traditions have been attacked by the communists, anarchists, liberals, and liberaltarians for years now . Now we see the destruction they have and are causing.
U.S. birth certificates are already often works of fiction. Two men or two women can be listed as the parents. Ditto for adoptive heterosexual parents.
If your motorcycle identifies as an ATV, you should be supportive instead of questioning its decision.
Transgenderism, which says you have male and female brains, thus proves that male and female behavior is not learned but innate - and that all the differences from maternal instincts to emotional impulses to general differences in skill sets. Transgenderism says male and female brains are different, undermining the feminist argument there is no difference.
So you can either say gender roles are social constructions and break down gender barriers (feminism) or gender roles and stereotypes arise from biological differences in women’s brains (transgenderism)
