Francis laments that world powers did nothing to save Jewish, Christian, gays from Nazi death camps.
ROME — Pope Francis on Sunday denounced what he called the “great powers” of the world for failing to act when there was intelligence indicating Jews, Christians, homosexuals and others were being transported to death camps in Europe during World War II.
He also decried the deaths of Christians in concentration camps in Russia under the Stalin dictatorship, which followed the war....

Yo, Il Papa, what is The Vatican doing to rouse the world to act on behalf of Christians who are being slaughtered throughout the Middle East?
Did the Pope ever read a history book? Few, if any, knew about the atrocities that were taking place in these death camps. What a putz.
Has “Fancy Pants Francis” said anything about the murdering of Christians by ISIS? Or has he been too busy inviting in imams into “vati-can’t city”?
These great failures to act are in the past and should inform us today. Yet ISIS kills thousands of Christians in Iraq and Syria and no action is taken in the so called civilized world. We are too busy condemning the Israelis for defending themselves.
At least we don’t have to worry about Petrus Romanus being a military strategist.
And if you “bombed” the railway lines, the SS would have just killed the prisoners where they stood, put them in trucks or force-marched them to the camps. Who are his advisors?

Well, one thing we know for sure, it wasn’t because they were too busy fighting Global Warming.

The chuch was late and indifferent to the ww2 atrocities. Now the ball of string in front if the cat is Islam. Let’s see how the church does now . Early signs are not good.
The audacity of this “Pope” is quickly becoming intolerable.
The Pope doesn’t understand anything about war tactics. Bombing just the tracks would have delayed the death trains by a few days, not longer, and thousands would have died by suffocation inside the cattle-cars (My relatives died in either Belzec and/or Auschwitz)
Bombing the main gates of Auschwitz or any other concentration camp, plus the administrative buildings, outer guard towers and the ovens, would have given the prisoners a possibility to escape (but to what/where) the camp.
It would have also killed a lost of Nazis/SS and perhaps a few Gestapo agents.
The prisoners had nothing to lose by the Allies bombing their camps, and possibly some might have escaped to join Partisan groups or flee to Russia (where they would have been rounded up like Begin and put into slave labor camps or put into the Red Army).
If only we had done something at that time. FDR and his advisors were the role model for Obama and his cowards/sissies and leftists) in NOT taking out ISIS when they were on the open roads of Iraq.
Says a lot, of the truth, about the cowardice of Democrat leaders, and that truth has been paid in a lot of blood.

I would ask, why did the Papacy refuse to recognize the state of Israel until 1993, but I already know.
Any day now....I expect him to start appearing on the History Channel and providing advice on cars, transmissions, and brake repairs.

Genocide yesterday should teach us one thing: Do not ignore it today. What has the Pope done to counter Islamic genocide of Christians and others? As a Catholic, I fear the church is seriously out of touch with reality and now led astray by an affirmative action Pope who is clueless about the world and unwilling to defend the church and Catholics.
Goodness gracious. Not only is he God’s emissary on earf, he’s Mother Nature’s and Sun Tzu’s. What a pedigree. Too bad he’s not allowed to have kids.
