This new encyclical
Laudato Si is particularly troublesome because it has a whole lot of non-Magisterial material (secular opinions on physical and social science, economics, politics) larded into the legitimate faith-and-morals stuff.
It's not surprising that people are scratching their heads and saying "WTHeck?" It looks to some as if he's abusing the prestige of his office to push issues which are outside of his competence.
I, personally, think it should have been split into two documents. One document would be the faith-and-morals content, which is the proper material for an encyclical. The rest of it --- an "Environmentalist Manifesto" consisting of ecological-political musings--- could run in the op/ed pages of L'Osseratore Romano. The last sentences could have been,
"So, anyhoo, that's my two cents' worth. YMMV. What do the rest of you guys think? Sincerely, Sr. J. Bergoglio." |

What about it?
This Pope is more worried about global warming hoaxes and rubbing elbows with pro-aborts on Vatican grounds than saving souls.
He hasn’t once tried to convert anyone to the Catholic Faith. He actually discouraged Tony Palmer from doing so.

To quote Michael Matt at the Remnant: <>
“The Mystery of Iniquity is at hand, and anyone who tells you he has it all figured out is either lying or insane. We must neither panic nor despair but rather watch and pray for Pope Francis even as Christ prayed for Peterthat his faith will not fail him.’”

He’s the papal version of Peter Griffen.

That's very troubling.
Tony Palmer died just about a year ago, as I remember it. Mtorcycle accident, awful. I'll pray for the repose of his soul.

Can you explain further? I’m not familiar with Peter Griffen.

Exposing my ignorance further: I don’t watch TV. I take it that is a TV guy. What are the characteristics which match him with the current pope?

What makes you think I'm not praying for Pope Francis?
He desperately needs heavenly intervention. Way more so than St. Peter ever did. St. Peter acknowledged his rebuke from Paul. Compare Peter and Paul to Bergoglio and Burke.

The Pope is hardly concerned with a Gallup poll. But, looking at the number decline it is not surprising that his approval is heading down after he has shown his Marxist-inspired Social Justice and Liberation Theology upbringing and indoctrination. This Pope is a cancer growing in the Catholic Church.

???
???
I don't think that. I never thought it. Maybe you've got me mixed up with somebody else.
We're in agreement on the need for prayer/.
