That was an awful lot of work to support a "holy" Roman lie. No man has the authority to absolve another man of his sins. Only God can do that. Mary was just a person who obeyed the will of God, and her status is no lesser or greater than any other person who hears and obeys God's call. We have one- and only one- intercessor in heaven, and His name is Jesus Christ. Praying to the dead is necromancy, an abomination in the eyes of God.

The church of Rome is the doctrine of man, not of God.

Christ is perfect It is His righteousness that we obtain when we are saved God sees us clothed in the perfect righteousness of Christ. There is no further purification needed Either His blood is sufficient or it is not.

This is the same catechism that declares catholics and muslims worship the same God (ccc841)?

This is the same catechism that says scripture presents the work of the Creator symbolically as a succession of six days of divine work (ccc337).

To decide whether purgatory is a real place or not, one only need look in the mirror. Are you perfect, ready to [literally] meet Christ?

If you do think you are perfect, then maybe there will be no purgatory for you.

No Christian claims to be perfect. Christians are however forgiven off all sins by the one time sacrifice of Christ on the cross.

There is nothing, nothing else at all, that can cleanse us from our sins.

No amount of praying by your momma, no appeals to Mary....nothing but the blood of Christ.

Wow. Glad that you are smarter than 75% of Christias. If Protestants are correct why do no other Christian groups agree with them (Russians, Greeks, Etiopians, Syrians) etc.?

To the thief on the cross, Jesus said, "Today, you will be with me in paradise."

Jesus was God, remember now???? and He gets to make the rules

. No man has the authority to absolve another man of his sins. Only God can do that.

"whose sins that you forgive, they will be forgiven. whose sins that you retain, they will be retained".....

Of course God forgives the sin, but He certainly gave men the authority to do so on Earth...

There is one true God and His name is not Allah.

This is the same catechism that says scripture presents the work of the Creator symbolically as a succession of six days of divine work (ccc337).

That is correct...creation occurred in 6 of God's days, not man's conception of what a day is.....the sun did not rise and set 6 times while He was creating the universe.

To God, the concept of time is meaningless...eternity is not a certain period of time....it just is.

The Bible is written so that mortal men can understand it, and people of the old testament would not have been able to conceive of time in terms other than those they understood.

If the believer, who believes in Christ, the Christ who died for our sins and nailed them to the cross as a one time sacrifice for all of our sins, is not cleansed by his belief in Christ, as described in the NT, then nothing remains that can forgive sins.

They are not symbolic. The Hebrew indicates they were six 24 hour time periods as we understand them. If you can’t get the beginning right I can see where rcc has a hard time with the rest.

He probably doesn't have a "name" as we know names, but there is only 1 God. I agree that allah is basically the Persian moon god...but there is 1 God and what you call Him is pretty much irrelevant.

Agreement isn’t what defines truth.

Some people get out via resuscitation(lucky) or reincarnation(because they screwed up before). Some people don’t.

Sorry about your experience in hell, but seek some spiritual help...The Bible is probably a good place to start...

Reincarnation has no place in any Christian belief system...at all.

The RCC has no trouble with anything and as I stated, the Bible was written so people could understand the concept of what happened. In the beginning, God created Heaven and Earth....do you really suppose that for any moment in time Earth was the only physical thing in existence

Eternal Heaven and 1 solitary planet?????

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1).
