I think that the anti-christ and the false prophet not only are alive but are now in plain view. Once the rapture occurs followed by the worldwide chaos that it will create, the anti-christ and false prophet will step forward and be formally revealed.
How about singularity? The corruption of human DNA.
AND OBozo the @ssclown`s election, to be sure. How else could the Fed be free to collapse the global economy, well Mittens would probably have done as well with the international banking cabal.
I think these things should be seen as an allegory of the end of the world inside. Not of an exterior thing but of a process that occurs inwardly. The psych uses imagery and symbolism and these symbols and imagery are used to facilitate spiritual changes inside.
I have read so much lately on the End Times and what is to come - and I am getting two consensus thoughts:
* Obama is not THE Antichrist as foretold, but rather AN antichrist;
* The current Pope may well be the False Prophet, who is tilling the soil for the Antichrist to appear;
I have learned that there really isn’t much of a timeline (event 1, 2, 3, 4 in order as written) but things jump around in chronology.

1 Thessalonians indicates he will be hidden until the Church and the Holy Spirit are “taken out of the way, then shall that Wicked be revealed” (1 Thess 2:7-8). The Lord seems to be saying, look to me, focus on Jesus, and let your light shine so others will come before it all comes crashing down.
The Bible says son of perdition will actually have to be revealed, so no one will know who he is until after we’re gone with Jesus, so it is useless and a waste of our time to speculate on specific people, but I think the Lord wants us to know these things that are coming. I believe, for instance, that the Bible indicates he will be an Assyrian, which is interesting given the history of the Assyrians.

There are so many things that could happen that would make Obama take complete charge of the world. However, I simply don’t see the entire world ever worshipping this man.
Now, if there is a rapture, then those left would naturally follow and worship one entity because they’ll know they got left behind so they’re afraid and will believe anyone who will show great powers and promise them to help them.
Imagine being left behind then you think about the eternal damnation in front of you. Then along comes a “leader” who has great power to perform miracles and tells you he can save you. At that point would everyone left bow down to him?
More like precipitate. Though I take a more objective survivalist`s approach here, there has to be a VERY significant event to enable a central gov ‘Evil Empire’ take over of the remants of the ‘Old Republic’ (Star Wars) or the attempt would only elicit (episode 4, A New Hope) CCW-II. Interesting how reality can mimic fiction.
Its gonna be seriously ugly when the collapse happens.
