5 surprising teachings about abortion in the Bible
Patheos ^ | July 15, 2015 | by Dave Willis

Yesterday, a news story broke where an undercover video was shown allegedly capturing a Planned Parenthood worker brokering a deal to sell the body parts of their aborted fetuses. The woman on the video goes into graphic detail about how the tiny organs are harvested while she casually sips her wine and eats her salad. The viral video has propelled outrage all over the internet and launched hashtags such as #PPSellsBodyParts.

This story has put the abortion debate back into the national spotlight. As a Christian (and a pastor), I’ve never seen abortion as a “political” issue, but rather as a moral crisis. Our President himself has said that answering the question of “When does life begin?” is, “above my pay grade,” so it seems only fitting to look above his pay grade to the Creator of life Himself. Below are the some truths from the Bible about how God views life, death and abortion.

If you’ve never before read what the Bible actually says about abortion, these facts might surprise you… Regardless of your faith (or lack of faith), I hope these principles will shape your own thinking on these important issues of life and death:

1. God’s plan for each human life starts BEFORE birth. The Bible paints a beautiful picture of God’s delicate handiwork in the womb. We are loved by Him and (well worth reading the rest):

I'd like to thank the United States Government for protecting me and my kind.

You see, 40 years ago, my odds of making it out of the egg, alive, were very poor; about 80% of us died.

But a lady discovered our plight and wrote a book that addressed our problem,
and, in 1972, a law was ammended protecting us even further. (http://www.fws.gov/midwest/eagle/protect/laws.html)

What I find strange is that the same government passed a law the very next year that allowed for killing
of unborn, and apparently unwanted, humans.  Little ones still nestled safely in their Mother's womb.
Around 25% of them are dying before birth - on average nearly 3,300 - every day of the year.

I hear that by now, somewhere around 55 MILLION of them have perished.
Wouldn't that kind of mess up the humans plans for growth, and welfare, and
retirement?

Strange birds; these Homo Sapiens.  Perhaps they'll come to their senses
before they are ALL dead!

There are human cowbirds; too.

They lay there ‘eggs’ in the gummints (taxpayers) nest and then they are hatched by non-biological mothers.

The same behavior is seen in both avian and human examples.

You should tell that to the owner of Free Republic, and the Admin Moderators then.

A suggestion from this moderator: Post full text from you blog and ask nicely for a hit to your link.

FR does not exist for the purpose of driving traffic (read: revenue generation) to your, or anybody elses, blog.

I have no complaint if a good conservative blogger posts his own material to FR, not as an excerpt to drive hits and discussion back to his blog, but rather to impart useful information to OUR readers and to promote and join in on the discussion and conservative activism HERE on FR.
