In what some are calling a “stunning show of political indecorum”, President Barack Obama has invited several individuals who publicly flout Catholic teaching to greet Pope Francis when he visits the White House next week.
Reporting for Breitbart, Thomas D. Williams, Ph.D. is reporting on the questionable guest list which seems to have been put together to test the Pope’s tolerance level. Included in the gathering will be a pro-abortion religious sister named Sister Simone Campbell, who is executive director of the dissident social justice lobby named NETWORK. Campbell openly fought against the U.S. bishops during the Obamacare debates and helped organize the “Nuns on the Bus” tour to protest the budget of Rep. Paul Ryan.
Also on the list is retired Episcopal bishop Gene Robinson who was the first openly gay episcopal bishop in 2003 who has since divorced his long-time gay partner.
Mateo Williamson, a cross-dressing woman and former co-chairman of the Transgender Caucus for Dignity USA also received an invite to the exclusive meeting. Williamson considers herself to be a gay man.
Vivian Taylor, a 30 year-old transvestite, is also coming. Taylor is the former Executive Director of Integrity USA, the homosexual and transgender activist “wing” of the Episcopal Church.
“A few months ago I received an invitation from the White House to attend the reception for Pope Francis,” Taylor told CNS News. “I was told I could bring several friends with me.”
“Though Pope Francis has said that he doesn’t believe in judging persons and is ready to welcome anyone in Christ’s name, he has also said that Catholics do not accept the modern mentality of transgenderism and once said that gay marriage is the devil’s ‘attempt to destroy God’s plan’.”
In his recent encyclical on the environment, the pope wrote: “The acceptance of our bodies as God’s gift is vital for welcoming and accepting the entire world as a gift from the Father and our common home, whereas thinking that we enjoy absolute power over our own bodies turns, often subtly, into thinking that we enjoy absolute power over creation.”
Williams says the invitees represent a “stunning show of political indecorum.”
I call it the height of arrogance that a world leader would publicly flout his own ideology in front of one of the world’s top religious leaders. Would he dare to include homosexuals, transvestities and dissidents to greet a head of state from a Muslim country where these people are routinely executed? Not a chance.
Shame on the White House for making a spectacle out of themselves at the Holy Father’s expense!

Williamson says that though she now thinks of herself as a man, she continues to be attracted to males. “Today I identify as a gay man and before that was difficult to understand because I thought that in order to be transgender, in order to be a transgender male that I had to be attracted to females but I never have throughout my entire life.”
COMMENT
It is tempting to react to this woman's situation with an assault of insults. On closer observation, however, we find someone who embraces her Catholic faith but has emotionally drifted off into a dark abyss. While we lack any knowledge of how she arrived at this point, we do know that she has grown up in a society that has encouraged rather than challenged the dark forces that have brought her to this state in life.
Regardless of how you personally feel about Pope Francis, Obama has invited him to dine with individuals who test the limits of Catholic teaching. In Mark 2:16-17, we find a similar challenge posed to Jesus Christ. He responded with charity: “Those who are well do not need a physician,* but the sick do. I did not come to call the righteous but sinners.” Please offer up prayers for Pope Francis and all those with whom he will meet on this US sojourn.

On top of his many other undesirable traits, Barak Obama is just a plain ol’ asshole.

Lol. That is a new twist. A woman who is transgender who is a gay man.
I bet his/her gay partner will be very surprised when he finds out that she is really a woman.
This is why we need Bobby Jindal in office. He has no problem addressing our nation’s ills. He was defending Kim Davis, for instance, to the Nth degree last night during the CNN Debates.

I was going to post that message...you beat me to it. Obama simply doesn't know how big a jerk he is.
Again, why is this even an issue? We all know that Francis would love to meet with these folks. Obama is merely giving Francis what he wants.
And if not why not.
