Keep doing what is right rather than what is popular. Keep on speaking the truth in love. God WILL honor that. I’m surprised your head pastor doesn’t stand up for you and rebuke those members who would persecute you for stating what God says and commands. That’s his job! Perhaps you might start praying for the Lord to lead you to a more teachable and faithful congregation? Until then, refuse to be compromised and teach your children to do so also. God will honor those who are faithful. God bless you and your family during these trials. I will be praying for you.

But you might want to start by asking why did God invent sex? For pleasure? Are the teenagers having sex? How about abortions?
At this point, repentence and the mercy of God to those who turn from their sins might be the way to go.
After all of this, you ask about homosexuality. It is not a “sin” but acting on the impulse is a sin the same way that heterosexual sex outside of marriage is a sin.
And then you might start to ask about what happens when the world discards the taboos against sex? Divorce, children living in poverty, child abuse/neglect, and STD’s.
And then, with the permission of their parents, you might want to point out that the gay propaganda of the media is not true: The unhappiness of the promiscuity of the gay lifetsyle is terrible, not to mention how sex because the center of the lifestyle, including a lot of perversions.
Hundreds of quickies in a bath house was the reason for the HIV epidemic but no one wants to point this out.

Catholics see same sex attraction as a psychological defect, (doesn’t matter if it is genetic or developmental: it might be both). But the sin is giving into the temptation to sin.

Well, a bisexual who was seduced into the lifestyle can be helped with counseling. But a small percentage of men have a strong inborn predelection where counseling probably won’t help. Then the answer is chastity: Relying on the grace of God.
you also might point out that lesbians are a bit different: And that feminist propaganda seduces a lot of hurt heterosexual women, who have been hurt by men sexually exploiting them, into relationships.
