That statement is flawed in more ways than one.
It is not a matter of bb having decided to do it "her way" as if she did that all her own. She certainly has not abandoned the Holy Writ concerning Christ, so is no freestyling free-booter.
To somehow imply that she is (which is they way your arguments nearly without fail come across) is just so much cheap insult, convincing no one of anything other than being further continuing evidence of your own bigotries.
Many of the claims which Romanists are fond of making, have been falsified --- not necessarily by individuals per se, but by objective facts which are independent of mere opinion.
If you truly do desire to "convince" others that they are in error ---try addressing precise items of conversation as those arise --- instead of repeating the same stale bigoted opinion & argumentative thrown out as some sort of magic blanket cure-all that will fix everything, as if those viewpoints and opinions refute all aspect & item of dissent no matter what (regardless of what the more actual & objective facts of the matters truly are).
Is that too much to ask?
First of all, that was not a statement, it was a question and it implies nothing. I simply cannot understand how someone, in the 21st century, can, in their own mind, decide that an institution that is 2,015 years old is in error, and that they know better what Christ intended and decide to go their own way about doing things. No need for the Eucharist anymore, no need to confess ones sins, Marriage is not a Sacrament, divorce and remarriage is O.K......no adultery involved there, artificial birth control, well, we'll just make up our own rules and decide what is convenient for us.........see how easy it is when you can make up your own rules!!!
It's been pointed out to you on numerous occasions how and why.
Repeating it all over again goes nowhere.
Protestants no longer believe in the true presence in the Eucharist....Christianity has taught it for 2,015 years.....Protestants no longer believe that "whose sins you shall forgiven, they are forgiven, whose sins you shall retain, they are retained".....they just assume OSAS is good enough....remarriage after divorce....no big deal and certainly not adultery, artificial birth control methods, accepted sometime in the 20th century by most protestant denominations. Now many denominations are accepting homosexual marriages as valid....it goes on, and on, and on, and on.....who knows what's next.I understand that somewhere there is a protestant minister who is involved in a same sex marriage, and proud of it....whatever!!!
