Yet you could say they believed in Christ as the One Who Is To Come: they believed prospectively. They saw Him from afar: and He was their Savior.

The rules of this forum specifically say that mind-reading is not allowed. ;-)

Joking aside, that would be exactly what I would say. They trusted in God's provision, His Messiah, whom we know now as Jesus.

I didn't know that Muslims believe they love Allah and in so doing Allah loves them in return. I was under the impression that Allah was supposedly so transcendent that there is no personal relationship between them. I didn't know that the Koran has verses that say that Allah loves them.

If that's the case then your argument makes a lot of sense.
