I hope you can enjoy a good old "American" turkey dinner. They have stores here, that cater to the foreigners living here, and often times, they have great butter ball turkeys, but this time, I couldn't find a turkey if my life depended on it. I guess I will have to choose between lumpia, kinilaw, embutido, afritada, pancit, adobo, tocino, longganisa, and a few other choice morsels. I will try to survive.

Ouch. It is usually above 85 Fahrenheit, 365 days a year, but it doesn't get hot like it does down under. I grew up in snow and ice. I don't miss it.

Chicken macaroni salad, fruit salad, embutido, fried chicken, pork. Norhaya and JR are not here today, so we can have pork. S & R and SM staff, still haven’t figured out inventory management, which is why I couldn’t get a turkey. Even our domestic helper showed up to help cook. Yesterday, she made dinaguan, but I can’t take that. We are enjoying our day, even with the incessant heat. That’s why God created air con.
