For the answer to that question I strongly recommend this book which covers the subject in exhaustive detail.

My question to catholics would be and still remains....against what do you measure the teachings of the pope?

What is the standard?

If your hierarchy elects a pope, on what basis does the laity decide that they are wrong?

How did the College of Cardinals come to the decision they did? Was the College of Cardinals led by the Holy Spirit in making that decision?

You’re a Catholic. Answer your own question.

Another heretical screed from a non-catholic source.

Um, more like how Judas’s successor was chosen ... drawing lots.

Those traditionalists don’t seem to see what they have in common with Luther.

I wonder how long before the Church excommunicates them as well.

And off they’ll go still believing that they are the TRUE Catholics and the rest are heretics who have taken over Catholicism.

What’s heretical about quotes from Catholic saints?

And what’s your “catholic” source? The USCCB?

Well I would like to know why this pope rarely ever uses the words Jesus Christ in his public sermons?

Also why does he always hide the crucifix around his neck?

Is he ashamed of the cross and what it represents?

Those traditionalists don't seem to see what they have in common with Luther.

It's not traditional Catholics who co-authored the "JOINT DECLARATION ON THE DOCTRINE OF JUSTIFICATION".

And there will be no traditional Catholics joining Papa Tango in Sweden when he commemorates Luther's apostasy.

P.S. Please keep him there; that's where he belongs. Just like Luther, Francis flaunts Christ's Church.

Luther was true to Christs church in the face of overwhelming opposition. You modern catholics now have the opportunity to do the same.

Satan owns Francis. In the mid 1990’s, Father Malachi Martin predicted that a future Pope would be under the control of the Evil One. His prediction came true.

I'm not a modern Catholic; but Luther was probably the first one, before he apostatized.

How are you enjoying your new "church"?
