Is this satire?
I wrote my Congress Person the following “ If you are going to sit there and do nothing while women go to combat, then get your money gubbin A$$ in gear to register them for the DRAFT!!” No darn response!! We defeated the ERA but we are doing it anyway? What is this crap?
If combat roles are indeed left open to women, as appears will be the case, then women will and should register for the draft. There's that equality yah' asked for, girls.
This was the logical outcome of not only feminists but men - both left and right - encouraging their daughters to join the military. Some of us knew this would end up being a problem. Some of us were outraged at seeing our daughters coming home in body bags or mutilated - but no one on the right or the left - said a word. This is what comes of “good” people standing by and saying nothing.

Many? I don’t think so. A few? Yes. Some left wing politicians? Yes.
I missed all the “immodest” combat uniforms in the Army.

If a woman isn't qualified, she will serve her tour as typist or riveter.
If she can shoot, she'll be a sniper.
No American should be drafted, ever.
Talk to any modern young woman, and most will tell you that girls can do ANYTHING men can do, better than men, and look fabulous doing it...Between the self-esteem BS being hawked in the schools, movies and TV portraying women as "badasses" capable of karate-chopping hulking bad guys into submission, and a lack of respect for gender roles (and gender entirely), we have come to this. I guess when society believes that you can change your gender by "identifying" as something you are not, it's not shocking that the basic reality that women are physically weaker and smaller and more delicate than men, is ignored.
Obuma didn't get there by himself did he? (and I'm not sticking up the gay muslim)...
And our Representatives and Senators that have been re elected how many times, didn't get there by themselves did they?
That's why this election is so important to decide who to choose as POTUS...and those coming up for re election again...are we going to keep doing the same thing over and over again?
I'm not, I'm going a different direction this time, either the Country is going to be saved, or it's going to go the hell...it's only up to us...
Don’t ask for equality and then say “Oh, we didn’t mean we wanted to be put in potential danger!” I had to register for the draft AFTER I had already served two enlistments in the Army.
That's the scariest, most absurd part of this debacle -- a lot of women DO want to be put in danger, because they actually believe that they are physically equal to men.
If it is any consolation, I doubt any American will ever be drafted again. After the engineers of the war in Vietnam later admitted it was a mistake (and weren’t imprisoned for war crimes), the government lost the moral authority to impress anyone into military service.

Yes, I agree. And men have quit looking after women. You only have to look at the “refugee” problem in Europe to see that men no are no longer interested in taking care of women.
I think you’re spot on in suggesting that modern people look at others as “cogs.”
I remember a few years ago a woman serving in Iraq was a truck driver and was captured by the enemy. She was raped by 50-60 men.
She was then rescued and immediately discharged and completely disappeared. The government was determined to prevent her from having any contact with the real world lest people find out what happens to women in combat.
From the sparse accounts about her, she was supposed to have had a total breakdown and was relegated to a psychiatric hospital.
Even women in the Israeli military are barred from combat. They tried it in Israel with disastrous results. They will put women in combat here in the US and get a lot of people killed but in a leftists brain ideology is worth as many lives as necessary to support it.
This country has spent decades marginalizing men, and many have responded by simply dropping out of society (beyond working); while they are mocked for living at home later in life and not marrying/breeding, they are nobody’s fools.
Let the people who were moved to the front of the line because of their gender/ethnicity die for the country they’ve commandeered.
I’m a very short distance from having to use a wheelchair and the percentage of women who could take me on, much less a physically fit average man, is in the single digits.
I wonder if Hillary as a feminist trailblazer ever registered ?
