I think there are miracles, because last year I was sick and doctors said I had gall stones that were causing me to vomit and have stomach upset. They advised that because they were colic (I think that was the term), I needed to have a minor operation to remove the stones, or else it could be worse. By means of laparoscopy they successfully removed the gall stones. I was scheduled to be discharged the next morning.
The nest day I was feeling a little drowsy but that was not out of the ordinary. But when my doctors arrived they discovered that I was jaundiced. Immediately, they scheduled some tests only to find out that my liver had shut down inexplicably. My doctors who had been confident all along seemed to be panicking and I too, later own after some tests, they also discovered that my kidneys too had shutdown. I was not able to pass urine and my eyes had turned yellow. My mother who had accompanied me to the hospital was praying for my healing. She had prayed for me even before the operation, I on the other hand was not really praying for my healing. Later on my liver started functioning on it own. I spent weeks on dialysis due to my non-functioning liver and then I started praying to God for a miracle as did my mother and some of my family and friends of my mother. Through the grace of God I believe I was healed and I also think, as my mother does that whatever happened was for God’s purpose. God showed up in my life and he performed a miracle in my life. I will always remember 2015 and will remember God’s miracle in my life. I believe he is there for us always and he will protect us no matter what.
Thank you for sharing that.
That’s awesome.
