Perhaps you could give me the name of any doctor you have ever met who gives a patient a certified medical certificate declaring that that person was healed.

Evasion duly noted.

So the video didn’t do it for you, eh?

How do you know that I wouldn’t just be going to Certificates-R-Us and make one up?

Again, give me the name of one doctor you’ve ever met or heard of that gives out medical certificates to patients telling them they are officially healed of their condition.

Or are you setting up conditions that no one can possibly meet and then using that as an excuse to continue to reject God?

Sheesh, I shouldn’t post in the morning before I wake up......

Try again.

I believe that is covered under "not bearing false witness".

I offered up what would be a "win-win" take it or don't, I have nothing to prove or lose.

So the you tube video showing documented evidence of the healing of the hearing of the little boy did not convince you, eh?

Instead you set conditions which no one can meet because there's not a doctor around who gives out official medical certificates to patients telling them that they are healed. And I'm guessing that you know this.

And of course, it did not escape my attention that providing the kind of evidence you require would also require me compromising my screen name.

How convenient.......

Let me leave you with this thought.....

Luke 16:19-31 “There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.

“The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’

“But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’

“He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’

“Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’

“‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’

“He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

It doesn't really matter who is the one who gets or got healed. It does not have to be me. Because it's not the who got healed that is relevant but that the healing occurred. But considering the requirements you laid out, I daresay you fall into that category. Even if I got healed, I don't believe that would change you one iota or convince you otherwise.

People don't believe not because they can't but because they don't want to.

I offered up what would be a "win-win" take it or don't, I have nothing to prove or lose.

It's not a win/win.

You've given me no reason to trust you. You've made no response to the documented healing of that boy. You insist that it must be me documented by conditions which do not exist, that would result in me compromising my screen name.

And you are wrong anyway. You have everything to gain and only an eternity in hell to lose.

But it's your life. The decision is yours and I will not be party to being manipulated.

Have a great evening.

You would do well to take a lesson in debate from 21twelve. He(?) presented evidence and then supported it with historical documentation.

You threw out a video that may or may not be authentic and now you throw out some bible verses. Let me ask you, if I question the existence of god why would I believe a book that purports to have been inspired by a being tat may or may not exist?

When I discuss issues with the Catholics or orthodox they can point to Early members of their faith or to historical records. Things that can be verified from multiple sources.

They also are able to resort to reasoned arguments things like Aquinas's five proofs. Have you studied those?
