Don’t question my Trump supporting credentials when I say that I do not buy into this clap trap about God ‘anointing’ ANYONE, be it Trump, Cruz or any other figure to become President, save America, etc.
Why?
Didn’t we just leave this party, the whole “Ted Cruz is God’s anointed king, Ted Cruz will ‘transfer the wealth of the wicked to the pockets of the righteous’” claptrap? Have we learned nothing from the crash and burn of that maniac Glenn Beck and the rest of the loony tunes screaming, shrieking and wailing about how THEIR candidate was (or still is) ‘the chosen one’?
We need to get something squared away in our minds, and here it is: there IS no ‘chosen one’ (as in GOD choosing), the ones who choose are WE THE PEOPLE of the United States and no one else, although the party elites in the UniParty(c) try to install THEIR preferred candidates.
Now don’t misunderstand what I’m saying here, I believe in God, Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, my allegiance and loyalty is to Him first, and I readily confess that I’m not the best example of being a Christian, but don’t follow my example, follow the example of the Son of the Living God. Emulate HIM. Now I say that because I DO believe we should be in prayer regarding this election, we SHOULD be praying for the safety of Donald Trump and his family, but over and above all of that, we should be praying for God’s WILL to be done. His Will IS going to be done, just as He has said in His Word. That is irrefutable and not subject to change.
But we have to be careful not to fall into the trap of elevating Donald Trump from manhood to godhood and I believe that he himself would discourage such talk, he might have been blessed in many ways, he certainly commands vast wealth, but I think he would be the first to say “hey, I’m one of you, money not withstanding”, he doesn’t have to run for President, he could sit back and keep on living large for the rest of his life if he wanted to, but I see him as a patriot, an American who loves and cares about his Country, and about his fellow Americans. He wants to indeed, “Make America Great Again”, but he doesn’t want to be a king or an emperor, he’s running for President, nothing more and nothing less. All that Trump has consistently said is that as President, he will be the strongest advocate for Christians, because he is a Christian, raised in the Presbyterian Church, a throw back to old ‘mainline’ denominations and that isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
Now I will say bluntly, and sorry if it offends anyone: ANYONE can jump up in a church, in a rally, in a prayer meeting, and start yammering away about “what God has shown them” and “what God said to them” and then spout off with what they call a prophetic ‘word’. Others might pop up and say ‘yea, amen brother (or sister)!’ and say their spirit ‘confirms’ the prophetic ‘word’ just uttered. That does not mean any of it is valid or worthy of being embraced in the category of “God Doth Say”. You want to know what God thinks? Read your Bibles, pray to Him in your own private time, and *listen* to hear what He has to say to you.
This firefighter Mark Taylor said in that video to ‘pray for discernment’ and in that aspect, he is absolutely correct:
Pray to discern whether or not ANY of his proclamations should be taken seriously or not.
I’ve already done that. Mark Taylor is a nice guy, but the God he espouses so far as ‘anointing’ Donald Trump is not the God I know. As my good FRiend StephenJohnBanker often says:

God definitely does anoint. However, yes, I would be skeptical of nearly all who claim to be “prophets”.
I understand what you’re saying. In so far as the ‘anointing’ of any individual, that anointing does not necessarily become evident until after God’s Will has been done.

Nothing you said makes this untrue. God still speaks and God appoints leaders of nations....that isn’t me...that is scriptural truth.
Two things fit from what this word speaks of. God is and has been exposing corruption of the world systems and has been for at least 8 years. Trump has been Teflon all during this primary, the media and party establishment has failed everytime they have tried to hurt Trump; and every issue at the forefront of this primary and election has been presented by Trump.
I am weighting this word and so far it ‘fits’.

It sounds like you don’t think God still speaks prophetic through his people. Many millions of believers don’t agree with you and from my reading of the bible you say we should read God most certainly does still speak through his people giving prophecy.

Yes, I did listen to the interview, the entire hour.
I’m not saying that God no longer speaks through His people, however I am saying that we must be cautious and not automatically accept the ‘prophetic words’ that are uttered by any given person on any given day. There are quite frankly too many frauds and charlatans out there that are capable of deceiving if possible, “God’s chosen elect”.
Jesus said “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore shrewd as serpents, and harmless as doves.” and that is excellent advice. If Mark Taylor’s prophecy proves to be true, I will be shouting ‘AMEN’ with the rest of you.
If I do not do so as yet, that may make me a ‘doubting Thomas’ however I’ve always considered that the disciple Thomas got a bum rap for his reticence to immediately believe that the reports from the other disciples about having seen Jesus in a Resurrected state were correct, i.e., I believe Thomas was seeking to be obedient to what Jesus said, about there being in the last times ‘false Christs’ and false reports about Him being seen in one place or another, which as I see it, prompted him to say “I want to place my hands in His wounds” to be sure. Thomas did not want to be misled.

Good. Like I said, I am weighting this word, and so far it fits but I am not yet saying this is God word to us.
I do believe Trump is being used by God to turn America around. I know I have been praying since way before Trump came on the scene. It’s been years. I just thank the Lord!
Just for the sake of clarity, Cruz ‘claimed’ he was anointed. However, Trump has made no such claim. However, I do remember him saying on more than one occasion he stood and almost wondered out loud to himself at the podium.
[paraphrase] He didn’t understand really why he was running as a candidate: he had a good life, he didn’t need this.... but he felt compelled to pay back this country for all he had received.
I have been told there are more than 1 prophesy made regarding Trump. And, they are not self-declared but are being made by others about him. I just shared this because the circumstances surrounding all this is so unusual. All these recent events have left me to wonder....
I will share with you my thoughts that I wrote down this morning:
God NEVER mis-dials. If God calls you, He knew exactly who was on the other end of the line.
Personally, I believe, now more than ever, that God has provided Trump as the only candidate to answer the “call” as the Republican Presidential candidate for this time in history!
Never before has a candidate achieved such a ‘political movement’ while being OPPOSED by millions of dollars of ‘attack ads’, the MSM (main stream media) and even his own POLITICAL PARTY.
Therefore, Yes I do now believe he was called to serve as president... Trump is qualified: competent, capable and ready to Answer his Call!
However that being said, my great concern which I have expressed before is: the Mexican cartel, BLM and others have declared their intention to assassinate him. This has been accomplished before when Robert Kennedy was making his presidential bid.
His goal to remove corrupt politicians and governmental practices is mandatory for the branches of government to work together to effectively address the needs of the nation: immigration, trade, tax, military, healthcare and veteran administration reforms.
The ambitious, innovative and comprehensive agenda of Donald J. Trump is imperative d risk for his life is the defining reason Trump has publicly identified his agenda. He has concisely outlined issues of public concern in advance is to increase awareness and reveal these to the citizens.
Please pray for the continued personal health and safety of
Presidential Candidate Trump. Specifically, that he may be allowed to live to achieve these goals he has set forth for the country and for the people of America.
