Hi Iscool, my laptop has been crashed for a while or I would have answered your post sooner. I’m at the library with little time so can’t answer it extensively now. Actually to answer it extensively I would have to write at least one book.
I hope, by the grace of God, that The LORD will change your mind about what you believe. It is sad that so much that He has available to you cannot be had because you believe it not. I hope that you will read the Gospels and for that matter the whole Bible again considering prayerfully, with the guidance of The Holy Spirit, who each verse is addressed to and who each verse is about. I would suggest making careful, prayerful, well thought out notes on what and who each verse addresses. Please do not let your doctrines cause you not to do this careful study of The Word of God, without any prejudice. If you do the Bible will change how you think.
It is easy to have a belief system that causes one to not to need to seek God in faith about the things of life. Everything being so cut and dry leaves one living a dry life, sewed up life lacking the kind of faith that Jesus Christ defined for us as faith. Every word of Scripture was given to us, the Church, for our benefit. It all teaches us who God is and how to get to know Him and how He chooses to interact with us. Jesus Christ defined for us what faith is. Let us not redefine it. He often lamented over those who did not exhibit it. Do not let Him have to lament over you.
