Hillsong continues to astound by their complete and utter disregard for how scripture instructs Christians to conduct their lives in this present evil age. First they brought us Sleezy Silent Night. Then they had the sexual pervert Austin Powers appear at their women's conference in London and now they'e had The Naked Cowboy appear at their women's conference in New York. We fear to see what they have in store for their next conference.

This story was just passed to me. It has to so with megachurches, which is something you know more about. I found this one...well very strange.
The guy they have in the pic isn’t THE Naked Cowboy of New York Street Performer fame. I think they got hoodwinked hahaha
If memory serves correct, two of their singers came out as gay and married each other. We love in a screwed up world.
I don’t know who either is, but really should they have THAT at a Christian Women’s Conference?

I guess the women feel they have a right to the same sort of entertainment as the men. Perhaps they do, but in the appropriate venue.

I was in Times Square a few years ago and had a conversation with that Naked Cowboy guy.
Seemed a decent fellow.
Seemed impervious to the cold.

Hillsong achieved worldwide success, with that comes worldliness.
I've seen more revealing men's speedos at a public pool. The Naked Cowboy isn't lewd he just sings and poses with tourists for pics. But yeah I wouldn't expect a Christians women's group to book such an act but then I've come to realize usually the groups who proclaim loudly to be christian are anything but.
I certainly never saw anything like it at any church I ever went to. Not sure I’d be comfortable seeing it if I did.
Uh, they DO realize that “Austin Powers” is both a fictional character and an exaggerated parody, right ???
This is as bad a “Baghdad Betty”, back during DESERT STORM, claiming our wives and girlfriends back home were cheating on us with Hollywood stars like Tom Cruise and Bart Simpson. . .
