My dad is in the hospital, in dire condition, after a stroke. While anything can happen, doctors are not talking optimistically.
Any prayers for my Dad, my Mom, and my family would be much appreciated.

Lord Jesus, we ask that you hear our prayers and heal this dear man for his sake and the sake of his family. Lord, you have not changed from the days you walked this earth and healed those who came to you. We are in agreement here tonight for the healing of this gentleman and we petition heaven for mercy, healing and peace for all involved. I ask this, along with all others who are praying here, in the powerful authority of Jesus, our Lord. So be it.

Yes, indeed, I'm so sorry to say that so far with every day it grows more difficult. This will certainly be the most difficult post for me ever on FR.
An update: I don't want to go into details. But to sum things up, the doctors tell us that he isn't experiencing pain, but I am terrified that he is experiencing incredible anguish.
If I may ask the following: Right now is the land of the grey murky in-betweens. Perhaps this time is needed, both to grant time for potential healing, and time for proper evaluation. But I pray that my father isn't experiencing it consciously, and that this land of the in-betweens passes quickly, so that he will soon either experience miraculous meaningful recovery, or, merciful, natural death and communion with God.
Please pray that his health providers, and we his family , do all the right, good, and moral things, in all domains.
It IS in Gods hands. May you all find peace in His will. Hugs
I am so very sorry for your situation. My family went through this last year when we lost dad after a long illness. Please know that you and yours are in my prayers.
