I'm up at 4:45 am every workday morning and often stay up until midnight. I usually end my day with a half bottle of wine or so and maybe a cigar or pipe. I do have yogurt and blueberries every morning. Not sure if this is the kind of routine the priest had in mind but I'll be happy to get to 90!
George Burns is kind of a role model for me. I think he kept regular habits too.

I would think that regular sex would help. He must be gay. Seventeen years old is no way to go through life, son. Time to grow up.

Fr. Leonard Kostka celebrated his 102nd birthday this past April. He is the oldest priest in the Society of the Precious Blood, CPPS. He was profess and chaplain at St. Joseph’s College of Indiana. He celebrated The Mass at my class’s 40th Anniversary 6 years ago.

Every story about a centenarian includes his advice about living a long life.
The fact is, these people have no clue why they have lived so long.

I always find it interesting what they say on the subject though.
Never once have heard was say eating vegetables avoiding trans-fat or any other liberal garbage liberals push was their miracle.

Oldest living Bishop.
Peter Leo Gerety (born July 19, 1912) is an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He was Archbishop of Newark, NJ from 1974 to 1986, having previously served as Bishop of Portland, Maine (196974). At age 103, he is currently the oldest living Catholic bishop in the world.

1. I do too.
One can usually figure out who the Catholic haters are on this site. They show their cards, so to speak, very quickly when they bash some person who's devoted 4/5 of his life to Jesus.
2. Lol. That doesn't seem to be the ticket for long life. The ticket seems to be a genetic gift from God, good, clean living and some luck...if one believes in in.

Just as often, they recommend a daily bottle of scotch and a box of cigars.
Or, “stay active,” which is sort of like: “Play basketball. It makes you taller.”
