Pope Francis: ‘Every Religion Wants Peace’
Breitbart ^ | 27 Jul 2016 | Thomas D. Williams, Ph.D.

Posted on 07/27/2016 9:37:40 AM PDT by detective

In a brief address aboard the papal plane en route to Krakow for World Youth Day, Pope Francis expressed his conviction that the world is at war, but it is not a religious war, since every religion wants peace. The Pope told journalists traveling with him that the world is not only insecure, it is at war. “But it’s a real war, not a religious war,” Francis said.

“It’s a war of interests, a war for money. A war for natural resources and for the dominion of the peoples. Some might say it’s a religious war. Every religion wants peace. The war is wanted by the others. Understood?” he said.

Pope Francis has strongly encouraged the invasion of Europe by Muslims. He has shamed Christians who try to defend their way of life.

Does Pope Francis bear responsibility for the murder of the Father Hamel on the altar while celebrating mass?

Is the Pope encouraging more Muslim attacks against Christians?

Uh…the Muslim idea of peace is to kill everyone who believes in a different religion than Islam. Surely, the Pope can’t be this ignorant.

No problem, Islam is not a religion.

He’s a false prophet. Him and Glenn Beck should start a road show together.

When in the last 1400 years have the actions of the muslims ever demonstrated this?

Isn’t one sign of senility that you constantly babble and nothing you say makes sense? I think we’re there with this one.

All we want is Peace.....Peace.....Peace...

A little piece of Poland
A little piece of France
A little piece of Austria
And Hungary per chance

A little slice of Turkey
And all that it entails

And then a bit of England
Scotland, Ireland and Wales

Pope Francis: ‘Every Religion Wants Peace’

Of course; that's not the issue.

Islam wants peace on its terms, and only its terms, and its terms are found in its name: submission.

Christianity wants peace on God's terms, and God's terms are found in its name: Christ.

If His Holiness cannot see that, he is indeed, to quote Christ, a blind man leading blind men. Would that it were not so.

Wrong. So much for papal infallibility. izlam advocates the killing of anyone who doesn’t belong, or who leaves. The pope-a-dope is blinded by liberalism.

Surely, the Pope can’t be this ignorant.

That's the problem - it's really bad if he is, and really bad if he isn't.

Or possibly demon-possessed.

Or maybe just plain evil.

When I first read the title, I thought “well that simply is not true because Islam wants war on everything NOT Islam”.

But then I realized... Islam is not a religion. Its a political power structure wearing a religious burka.

Still... dangerous thing to say to people that will believe it.

A point could be granted in a most technical sense.

The big problem in the Islam situation is that it “wants peace” achieved through a deity that is a quintessential bully. That is at best doomed to frustration.

Deities envisioned by a number of other faiths have problems, but few if any in the world are as marked as Islam’s. They may also be wrong, but not as spectacularly so.

Christianity is king not because of nominal numbers of adherents (though those are huge) but because Christ really, truly, does provide a deity-sized sacrifice offered for the benefit of humanity who will accept it to apply in their cases. I would certainly hope that if anyone groks this, it should be a pope! Now THIS achieves peace, first in willing hearts and eventually in a new heaven and a new earth.
