Good on you. To shed light on the “early Christians” you may like to read a short section of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, paragraph numbers 2270 & 2271 (with Scripture references)...

It was so easily debunked but only by people with strong knowledge of our history.
I am sadly lacking in that.
How many churches include the Decalogue, the Ten Commandments, during worship services each year? Mine does throughout Lent for which I am thankful. In my lifetime of worshipping I have not heard them but for a very few times until now.
Again, Christianity is far too important to bevleft to the clergy.
