From my link in post #18
>>Complicating the tale even further, when a Vatican spokesman denied that the Pope’s meeting with Davis was intended as an endorsement of her cause, he emphasized that Francis’ only private meeting at the Vatican Embassy in Washington was with a former student from Argentina.<<
>>That student turned out to be Yayo Grassi, a gay man who brought along his longtime partner to meet the pontiff.<<
Boob Bait for the Bubbas.
Some raw red meat for the “conservatives” [Catholics].
Will keep them asleep a little longer.
I believe there’s a “judge not” in that Book somewhere. Go look for it.
It seems to me that the OP article is specifically about gender ideology. It may very well be that even Francis has his limits (gender ideology vs civil unions for example), but that still doesn’t make him Catholic. This seems to be the issue that the Francis defenders are holding onto for dear life to “prove” his Catholicity.
Arthur, make it a point not to ping me with this kind of comment, OK? It is to me a near occasion of sin.
Well, I’ve lost a number of friends over this execrable creep, so one more is no big deal.
I didn’t say you had lost me, or were losing me as a friend. Our friendship is stronger than that. I just said don’t ping/post me that kind of comment. Thank you.
Could you possibly direct me to comments you shared regarding the Pope’s claim that all religions are peaceful?
I looked and couldn’t locate any - thanks
But nevertheless, if you google pope - all - religions - peaceful
... there, I just did it for you.... you may find what you want.
If that's what he really thinks, he's wrong.
I never use google, but thanks anyway.
There was a thread here when he in fact declared that all religions desire peace. Just wonder how it seems to be that there weren’t any comments from you there, I recognize your defense of him (your choice of course) but nary a word when he says something so egregious.
Thanks
I also wrote a short satirical piece about how foolish it is for a nice old Catholic gentleman from Argentina to set himself up as a global expert on "true Islam."
Maybe if you would google
Mrs. Dono - Free Republic - Francis - Islam
you'd find it. If not, not.

Or you might try Bing.
Much appreciated.
